Your nominees:
Marion Jones (that Oprah appearance)
Alan Webb (implosion)
Jeremy Wariner (money issues probably cost him Oly gold medal)
Bruce Jenner (being on that Kardashians show)
Ivan Ukhov (jumping while shitfaced)
Discuss.

Gotta go with Webb on this one. Not one decent race all year despite many self-proclamations that he was in great shape, then the Washington Post publishes that article at the worst possible time about him being a normal kid who eats burgers and fries.
I'll go with Ukhov, that was beyond funny. He could barely stand up, but tried to high jump anyway.
Close behind would be Marion Jones for continuing to be a lying sack of sh!t.
I don't think Wariner belongs on the list. He got beaten by a good runner, and I don't think the change in coaches affected him that much. Afterall, Sanya Richards did worse at the Olympics than him, and she didn't switch coaches.

I agree with mcgato and burlington northern. Wariner doesn't really deserve a nomination but the USA 4x100s do.
So we've got 1 for Webb, 1 for the relays, 1 for Ukhov.
Yesterday I saw the Kardashians show for the first time, and about 15 minutes was all I could take. I didn't know Jenner was involved with them. But really, he hit career rock bottom way back in 1980 with Can't Stop The Music. Jenner's post-Olympic career could have been argument #1 for repealing the amateur system.
Jenner for allowing himself to be photographed with that ridiculous nose job. Never mind showing it in action on television. He looks like a middle-aged lesbian.
Nah, Jenner's not hairy enough.
Gotta go with webb. The rest of them are all clowns anyway. This was Webb's chance to crush it on the world level coming off his AR mile season and he stank it up every time he laced up his shoes and in the end didn't even come close to making them team.
Got to go with the 4X100's.To take an event that was so US strong and have devolve into laughing stock, sad.
Obviously the 4 guys on the track were just the tip of the iceberg sized problems behind the scenes. Logan has his work cut out.
Webb.
In fact, the yearly award should be named "The Webber".
if only they were trains, you wouldn't sound stupid.

Well, we've got three semi-disgraced champs, a drunk, and a phenomenal talent that tanked in an Olympic year. On that basis this brilliant new LetsRun award should go to Alan, although the Russian would win with style points. I think the write-in votes for the 4x100m teams are a strong contender. Hand-offs and lack of practice = no gold (silver)? Men's and Women's? That's nearly criminal.
As an aside, I cringe at Letsrunners that bash Webb. The guy had an awful year though, in a year that pretty much defines a track athlete. Uninjured and not finding a way through the Trials? Ouch.
