Good thread.

Bob Miller for the L.A. Kings has to be THE best hockey announcer of all time.
One of the first people that came to mind. Growing up in the LA suburbs and watching the Kings of the 90s with Robitaille, Gretzky, etc. Heard Bob say "he shoots, he scores!" quite a bit. Didn't hurt that he was the announcer in the Mighty Ducks, either.
Basketball: Chick Hearn, amen. Dickie V.
Football: Musberger and Herbstreit (sp?). Lou Holtz cause he is hilarious to listen to, although some may think he is annoying. I just love college football.
Cycling: Leggit and Sherwen, especially when Lance was (will be?) rolling everyone up.
Track: Dwight Stones and Larry Rawson, especially because it that means track is actually on tv. Wasn't it Liquori who was doing it during El Guerrouj's Athens races? Sick, although he always sounds pissed off or something.
Soccer: The original guy from like Univision or something that all the Mexican announcers try to emulate. Says "goal" forever...
Tommy Smyth and Derek Rae, although if you do a search on Google for Tommy many people hate him. There are a couple other guys that did the Eurocup in addition to them that were pretty good, too.
