How is running not specific to boxing. Have you ever seen a fight? Any fight not just a boxing match. The 1st person to get tired gets their ass kicked. If both are fit then talent and training come into play but if you get winded in the fist round you are actually putting you life in danger. It's not like a race where you can stop and be a little embarassed, you will actually get knocked the f*ck out or worse. So if you are a fighter you best put in the miles. And if you are a fighter built like a runner then yeah, you may be pretty good at running too.
