anthony kabara recently joined the indiana invaders. that is a huge addition to their team.
what are the best clubs in the country.....i know there are several very good racing teams out there, but which ones are the best for elite athletes.

How many people here run for a club, and if so , which one?
maybe this should have been another thread - sorry, a little off the subject
1--nike farm team is definately the best club in the country
1)hansons
2)nike farm team
3)santa monica track club (for old time sake)
4)indiana invaders
5)cant think of any others off hand
Others:
Atlanta Track Club
Wisconsin Runner Racing
Team Eugene
Boston Athletic Assoc.
Syracuse Chargers
Take a look here and past years results:

Hansons #1 ???
You kidding? Not only is the Farm Team # 1, but the unofficial Farm Team members (Lunn, Hauser, Lane, Riley, Stember...) could beat the Hansons. How many Hansons made it to USATF Champs last year? 800, 1500, SC, 5k, 10k?
Farm Team:
800:
M- 4 / 1 in Final
W- 5 / 3
1500:
M- 2 / 2
W- 3 / 1
SC:
M- 2 / 2
W- 0
5000:
M- 6
W- 1
10000:
M- 1
W- 1
The Hansons did win the Club Nationals last year, so we will see this weekend in NC...
I think the best club EVER was the ZMA track club.
You have to realize though, that the hansons focus on the 10k and up while the farm team is primarly mid-distance...its two different worlds.
Athletics West was pretty decent back in the day
Shore AC and Warren Street have to be up there...as well as NYAC.
Invaders are the best all around Club Team. The other clubs specialize in certain areas. middle distance or 10k and up. The invaders look to have 2-4 atheltes in every event. Most of them are very good athletes but they only have a couple elite athletes like kabara,Ercegovac,DeDee Nathan,Brendon Falconer. The positive part about the Invaders is you don't have to be elite, you can be a good runner and have an oportunity to develop into an elite
ok, so they do not have the mid-distance, but then why did they only have 1 10k guy at Nationals? Farm Team had one also. Marathon: Farm Team, I believe, has 8 qualified for Trials. How many Hansons? (I really do not know?)
I'm not bashing the Hansons, by any means, just want to discuss.
If Shore AC is up there, then Runner's High and Gadsden T.C are up ther too b/c they kicked Shore AC's ass this fall in the Shore Area XC Series
Best in what way? The best runners? Taking care of their runners the best? I think as far as taking care of runners of any level the best club in my area (Northern CA) anyways is the club I run for West Valley Track Club. Sorry had to get the plug for my club in, ha.
The Invaders has to be the worst club in the country. The athletes receive no support.
Team "Fort Worth Running Company"
Miles, aren't you forgetting EXCELSIOR??? See you at CIM. Good luck and I hope to be right on your tail (or within 2 minutes).
Excellsior? Who are they? Didn't they go under like 5 years ago or something. You mean the team formerly known as Hoys? Just kidding. See you at CIM Dan, good luck.
Yes Miles, formerly known as Hoy's and now represented simply by the symbol $%&*
as far a dist guys go, i think hansons, wisconsin runner and nike farm animals are at the top
