Hope that is clear.

#### you, too! : )
I agree. What did D3 do to get dissed like that?
I mean, it is Baby Nationals, because the people aren't as fast.
I am guessing it is a joke!! Wejo posted same thing last year and got roundly critized. I beleive he is poking fun at himself.
I've never understood why DI runners look down on DIII runners. The top 20 or so at DIII nats could hose a majority of DI guys.
I'm guessing it is those 4,5,6,7 guys from mediocre DI schools that are hating on DIII. They think they are hot shit because they run at DI nats, but they are slower than the good DIII runners.

Agreed. I'm the number 5 on a DIII team that didn't qualify for nationals, and me and the 4 ahead of me all could have run for average DI schools.

What do you think both of the Johnson twinks were?
You guys have a bad sense of humor, or none at all.

but, you nor your team, nor anyone in D3 would have competed for the D1 title
Well, it just points out the flaw in trying to make an inside joke with a general audience. It's a stretch and just makes the person attempting it look bad. I wonder how Cornell would place at D2 or D3 nationals since it's clear that they'll never make it to D1 nationals under Rob't Johnson.
The creators of this site do a good job putting all the running news in one place for us, but they think they are funnier than they are...it's ok, just a joke really. Don't let it get to you.
They aren't doing it to be offensive or get people riled up, but since people are getting riled up, they are definitely going to keep it, that is something I can relate to an appreciate.

Hear! Hear! The best way to deal with these complainers is to offend them twice as much whenever they whine. And of course tell them to Ess Tee Eff Yoo! No one should apologize for making what's obviously a joke (even if it isn't the least bit clever). Why? Because somewhere out there, some of their dependent kind are just waiting for a hint of weakness from their superiors so they can happily slide down that slippery slope toward flaunting a giant sense of entitlement, constantly clamoring for "rights" and generally making a living out of being offended. Then we'll all be kissing their asses forever.
So ... BABY Nationals! BABY! BABY! BABY! Suck my balls, BABIES! BABY! BABY! BABY! ...
well i'm the number 5 on a D1 team that didn't qualify for nationals, and me and the 4 ahead of me could have been All American at D3 nationals. Therefore, anyone outside of the top 40 at D3 nationals would get hosed by a slightly better than average D1 team.
what school do you go to?
Newsflash: The average DIII team sucks. The average DII team sucks. The average DI team sucks. The main difference is the depth of talent at the top of the barrel.
People are always saying you need a 4:15 mile (or some other equivalent time) to go D1. That's very ignorant. There are a lot of D1 schools who only have one or two guys that can run that. I know plenty of D1 schools that have 4:30-4:45 HS guys on their team.
When people think D1, they think CU, OU, Wisco, etc, but the majority of colleges, regardless of division, have one or two decent guys with 5-10 crappy guys.

You guys just don't get it. I actually did the website last night and I was making fun of Wejo with the headline.
I very, very much respect d2 and d3 guys.I'm very friendly with the Cortland St. guys and their old coach Moran. They have a very good program and I'm thrilled to see them win. I just don't get why people can't take a little bit of poking/fun.
As for how we'd do at d3 nationals, our women's coach one year said, "You guys may not be the best team in the county."
I correctly pointed out that Cortalnd is in Cortland county and Cornell is in Tompkins. Thank goodness.
The reason people can't "take a little bit of poking/fun" is because it isn't funny. It's demeaning. To the DIII guys running at nationals, it is a big deal and all the guys there worked just as hard as the DI guys to get where they are.
Funny is when you point out something that someone doesn't take seriously. Demeaning is when you ridicule something that they do take seriously. Learn the difference and you won't come off as a jackass.
go find a d1 school who didn't make nationals, who has had 5 guys run faster than 25:05 for 8k at some point in the season. it won't be that hard. maybe you could even start with pre-nats results. there is more than one school who fits that description too.
I think it is funny and I'm a competitive DII runner, it's clear they respect all runners. I mean Rojo just said that, didn't you read his post?
You should "learn the difference" because I think you come across as the jacka$$.
