Does Greg know he finished behind Grey?

Lisa Larsen Weidenbach might dispute that claim.
That is an accurate statement. She won the women's race, not the Boston Marathon.
Hey that was cool! Did you see that everyone? The poster accidentally wrote "Grey" instead of "Greg" so 'proofreader' made a joke that pretended like they were TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE! You see he's playing on the fact that someone missed a typo to criticize them for not proofreading their post. But it was really funny too!
Good one!
Grey Meyer was a good marathoner but he was no Blue Rodgers.
With that in mind, Jim Knaub was most recent American to finish first in the Boston Marathon. He was the wheelchair winner in 1993. Meyer won the men's division, Weidenbach won the women's, and Knaub won the wheelchair division.

Its Muller time!
Very nice.
An American win in Boston would get people's attention. It could mean a lot for exposure of competitive racing in the US.
Lets hope that he fares better than Deena did when she was the clear cut favorite. Or Meb when he was also the favorite.
Good luck Ryan Hall. I hope you are able to break the Mammoth jinx.
I will definitely play hookey on Patriot's Day now. Thank you, John Hancock.
Am I just a huge dork, or does this make anyone else more pumped to be doing Boston? I feel like I can run the race 2:00 min. faster now!
This announcement means that every agent that has an athlete that has run 2:07 or faster in the last year, you are S.O.L. Ray Flynn is known for trying to manipulate fields. I guarantee certain demands were made.
for about 30 seconds, it would get on the news but has no traction..a fat society has no desire to join people in hours of painful looking exercise..
Asics lacks the infrastructure to run with it, there's no Nike+ to integrate him into, etc
Does this mean London didn't give him the appearance fee he thought he deserved or that Boston beat it?
You are assuming that he will still be a Asics athlete come April. I have often thought that you were an outsider. Thanks for the confirmation.
Sweet, that is great news. Now the real question is, who else is going to run Boston? If Hancock brings in the fields they had the past couple of years for Cheruiyot then Ryan is going to win. If they bring Cheruiyot back I think his chances or winning drop dramatically considering RC's talent and experience with the course.
What sub 2:07 athlete do you manage?
It means that his appearance on US television will be more than enough marketing to earn the money that London was offering.
Have Ritz or Sell announced their next marathon?
It's be great to see a Ritz vs Hall where weather isn't as much a factor.
