NOT GOOD. DONT SEE IT
It was great! Definitely see it! It takes a while to digest though.
Must see Defiance
You must have been high. It was AWESOME
It sucked. There was no plot at all, just violence. Also, what was the point of having the hydrogen fuel cells in the middle of a desert? Diesel generators would have been much simpler, cheaper and easier to install without such high transportation costs for the fuel or the risk of blowing up. They could at least have had a centralised underground power plant and fuel storage depot, not multiple tanks spread throughout the building.

While Quantum of Solace was not as good as Casino Royale, it was far better than I thought it was going to be based on the scathing Washington Post review.
I still think the Bond Franchise is on the right course remaking the character (or returning the character to Fleming's orginial conception). There seem to be two camps on Bond. The camp I'm in - happy that the character is now more real, who bleeds and has doubts, etc... And the camp that misses the cad with the cheezy puns and double entendres, the crazy gadgets, the outsized villians and their ridiculous conquer the world plots. I think the latter version of Bond had run its course and it had become increasingly difficult to top the previous movie. The last couple of Pierce Brosnan movies were dreadful.
I like the direction its gone in, but they could still being the gadgets back into it, but just not so stupid ones.
Glad all the dodgey films from the 90's are gettin back on track, such as batman, bond and hopefully Bale can give the new terminator a different feel, even though i like the other 3.
The porn version is called Quantum of Sodom.
I liked it the first time I saw it......as the Bourne Supremacy.
I saw it last night and I enjoyed the action but otherwise it sucked and was too long. There hasn't been a single decent Bond movie since Daniel Craig became Bond.
RunDaddy, I agree! I really liked the movie, but not as much as the first. I wasn't sure what to expected since it was getting some reviews where it was being panned. But was satisfied at the end.
I like Brosnan as an actor in other films like "Matador" but the films he was in were expensive bores. "Casino Royale" with Craig was excellent, partly because the lead actress was so good.
It was good as far as not overly deep action flicks go, it doesn't promote any serious thinking but it keeps you entertained. A lot of people say it's not really within the Bond style, but I'm not a huge Bond series fan so I don't really care.
All I know is that my entire dorm nearly failed our first semester of college due to multiplayer on Goldeneye for Nintendo 64.
Casino Royale is the best Bond Movie ever.
I thought it was great. Very close to Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is absolutely brilliant.
And the plot was great, it wasnt all just violence. I really liked how they showed a darker side to Bond in Quantum of Solace (for example, him being quite drunk on the plane, unable to sleep etc.)
i agree, it has eva green.
It was okay. I think they should stop following the Bond formula. You know, he sleeps with two girls and one of them gets killed. Or he sleeps with two girls and one turns out to be a villain. Give us something surprising. I liked the opera scene the best. The ending wasn't that great.

Same here! I still can't believe we had the 4-player split screen going on a 20'' TV!
Yeah, the Opera scene was definitely the coolest part of the movie. The secret organization had a lot of promise, but they never really developed it much further in the movie.
