Why do so many teams get to go? Talk about marginalizing a national championship.
32 go. Don't 31 go to D1's?
31 of them should stay home . . . no one can beat CORTLAND!!!

There are more d3 cross country teams that d1.
I know, that's why I'm asking why he thinks 32 is too many. "Just over 30" seems to be the standard.
well for your info there is about 2 times more DIII schools than DI so therefore it is much much harder to make it as a team in DIII, in DI you can give scholarships/ recruit kenyans and have an all-star team, in DIII you recruit and get who you can convince that DIII is the place to be,
Predictions?
Individuals
Teams
I wouldn't say harder for a team in d3 to make it than in d1...just so you know many d1 schools don't have scholarships to give...and most dont give full rides. its cross country. I dont even think oregon gives full rides. also many d3 schools are so bad that they shouldnt even count
Predictions???
Can anyone beat Cortland on the men's side? Watch out for the eagles of La Crosse.
Women - Calvin looks pretty tough right now, but I think wartburg might surprise them, and who knows about Hopkins? they seem to find a way to win.
What about individuals?

Calvin or Williams for the womens win. Leaning Williams. Hopkins won't be in the top 5.
Men ... Cortland. Don't expect the MW to be as strong as they're ranked. NYU and Williams are underranked. So is Allegheny and CMU. Emory overranked.

Sure, Cortland can "waltz" to a regional victory. But nationals is a whole different story, don't expect an easy one at Hanover.
