To me what you basically did was propose to him via email. You've set the timeline for him to technically propose. You've sort of taken his choice out of the matter and now he either follows your request - accepting your proposal - or he turns you down by not proposing.

This doesn't mean things are over. However, I do think he deserves an in person conversation about this. Think things through carefully before starting that conversation.

P.S. - If you're a troll, you did pretty well, as no one has called you out on it yet.

He either is thinking the same thing and that's why he isn't saying anything, that way its a surprise, or the idea might actually be scaring him. You should be able to judge that and make that call based on how well things are between you too. He might just not want to discuss it often because he wants to take the credit for the timing and everything..

He's not saying anything to you because he didn't read it. His other girlfriend got a hold of your email and deleted it.

What everyone here is saying about getting the milk for free and unpaid ho and all is sadly true. Living together is not being married. If you don't think that he wants to marry you, no, if you don't think that he is EAGERLY wants to and could wait several more years before getting around to the ring, then I suggest moving out. This is what I did and had a ring on my finger within a week. It wasn't an ultimatum or anything like that, it's just that I suddenly felt that I only wanted to be someone that wanted, no, REALLY wanted to marry me. Well, I guess he did.
