Old sub4
I had been injured this past year, and spend all winter in the pool. I came out for track and got in a good 12 weeks of running in, with only about 6 of those 12 weeks had workouts. I was running about 40 miles a week, but my workouts were things like 10x400 in 63-65, 800-400-400-200-200-200 in 2:08, 63, 62, 31, 30, 29.
I ran a 400m split of 52. Ran a huge pr of 3:56 in the 1500, and was able to run 14:59 in the 5k.
Do you think I could expect good drops in time at 1500 if I can run consistently through the winter, get good LT work in, V02max, hills, plyos, etc.
Curious, I'm trying to find where my best potential is, and I think its the 1500.
