My guess is Cortland will run a few more this weekend at oneonta im guessing but will wait until the next weekend at pre-regionals to run a full squad (may be a paced controlled run though) Geneseo ran a full squad at PSU this past weekend and didn't look too good (why go to Penn St. if you're not going to go all out with a full squad when Brockport is right next door). Brockport men ran all but Cartwright from what I can tell and hes had injury problems for a while I think.
looks like brockport was missing their to finisher from the buff state invite, Ryan Gilmore as well. don't really know where he would fit in though.
So I was extremly board before practice and this what I got for Brockport.
At the Buff state meet they didnt run 1-4 with Ryan Gilmore being thier number 1. Then at their own meet they kept out Gilmore and Cartwright (the number 2 guy from last years regional team) If they had run either Gilmore or Cartwright or run both they would have captured the second place spot from Fredonia because Brockports 5th man (Brad Fink) who was at a 17:05 which was 16 second (10 places) behind Andrew Oetting (the 4th man that race). If it were a duel meet the score going into the 4th man was 16-20 in favor of Fredonia. Fredonias 5th man was the very next finisher behind their 4th man and Brockports 5th man was far back (like i said before). With Gilmore or Cartwright in the race brockport would have been finished with their scorers before Fredonias 4th man.
Like I said I was extremly board before practice, and I have nothing against Fredonia they were just the team who was in second place.
Well, Who Am I, I can't make a great guess about your identity, but can you at least verify that you attend a State school? Thanks.
I'm not even in college yet. I'm a senior at Bethel Park High School (PA). I'm just really starting to get into college XC and I'm thinking about going to Brockport so thats why I chimed in. Ill just stay out of this untill I get to brockport next year.
Thanks for the rapid feedback.
Sorry to be a jerk, but I was mostly hoping that someone with such atrocious spelling, punctuation, and grammar was not a student at a high-tuition private school, which would be a real ripoff.
And, in all sincerity, a tip:
When you apply to college(s), have someone else proofread every part of every one of your applications. It's important.
Like the rest of us, you're probably more careful on apps than you are on a discussion board, but get 'em proofread regardless.
...because the internet is serious business.

Look at the A-region site. Brockport rested 1-3, straight from the webmasters mouth. I have a feeling Cartwright is not running this season.
What is the deal with Matt Medeiros still running for Platsberg? He has been around forever.
9/15 Results,
You're one to talk. Why don't you just keep posting under the real name you kept using all last year or did you get outted last year so now you're trying to hide your identity?

Oh, him? Well, he's 25, and works the night shift down at Georgia Pacific. What else do you need to know?

I'm not sure who you're referring to but I can assure you that that person is not me.
if you want to go that route of inserting hurt runners into races, Fredonia is missing a top 3 runner, Dunscombe. So get back to your paper work son.
Hey like i said im still in HS so i dont know who this Dumbum person is from Fredonia. I was just saying that Brockport was out 2 of their runners at their own meet but last time i checked 2 is more than 1. So If Fredonia was out 1 top 3 runner and Brockport was out 2 then I think the results would favor Brockport but then again what would i know. Ohh and I guess im sorry about the spelling mistakes. People take this very seriously and want everything spelled right!
Signing off till i get into college

By the looks of Bethel Park this year this "Dumbum" will enjoy doing business with your "dumbum" should you run in the conference next year.
Bump
Looks like the meet in oneonta should sort some things out. Although I hate that they're running shorter distances than the 8k and 6k (even 5k) still. I guess the extra 500 meters would be too much for the women this early in the year.
I agree that Cortland will wait for pre-regionals to run everyone, but I think (I hope) they will race it so we can see where everyone is at.
Remember that Penn St. 8k is long, I thought Geneseo looked decent gettin 4th.
I don't think Geneseo's full woman team ran. They were missing a few top runners, maybe inured?
Is Cartwright expected to return for championship season? That would definitely help Brockport.
Penn St. is a 5.2 mile course- it isn't a "long 8k", thats just how long the course is.
