Wow! What a close race. Is Ballard that good or did Kosgei just hang? Does anyone have details on how Kosgei ran his race?

ugh great...keene state whoops on SLU again...that makes the Atlantic region look good
women please?
idiot, trinity was better than keene state and slu whipped them. It was a battle, Keene and slu had good days.
Big race by Ithaca for third...and without Tim Shea. Not too bad. It probably won't be enough for a national bid, but they're definitely a solid team.
And since when did Saratoga become such a huge/deep meet? I remember when it was an event for five guys to be under 26:00 and now there's guys knocking on sub-25. My winning time would've barely placed me in the top-10. Good job Atlantic/NE teams!
come on dude...with the name calling seriously...its like you want to get me all stirred up...SLU was viewed nationally as better than trinity and keene state...they should have beaten them both according to their ranking...they lost to keene state which hurts the atlantic region...that all I'm saying its just annoying because the same thing happened last year

Didnt look to close, but didnt look like Trinty ran their whole team? Anyone confirm that. Anyone there that can honestly tell us how the race played out? They probably figure they wont have a problem being top 4 at NE Region. Depending what Keene does it could have a negative effect on SLU and AR. TCNJ will win their conference easy, NYU looks like the only team left that can help its case and the AR's case with a good solid showing at UAA, meaning either a win or second to Carnegie. Although NYU losing to Emory would not be horrific since Emory should most likely the South this year.
Obviously everyone wants to be top 2 at regionals, but the best shot for 5 teams from region is this order of finish. Cortland, Geneseo, NYU, SLU, TCNJ.
SLU beat teams at Oberlin so they should get in at a 4 spot. At 5 they are more of a crapshoot. TCNJ placed well at Williams and will look good in their conference results, so they have best shot in the 5 hole.
Only Midwest and NE are pretty certain to get 5.
West will get 2 only most likely, South could get 3.
That would leave 17 spots for the other 4 regions, Mid-East will get 4 (Havfrd, CMU, Alleg, and Dickinson if they are all top4) Atlantic will get 4.
Great Lakes has been getting some good hype behind Calvin, so they might get 4 if one of (Case, Oh North, Mt Union) dont implode the order. So what does the Central get is the big question? Olaf and St. Thomas are the top 2 at this point, Grinnell and Hamline are next based on rankings? But havent really beaten anyone, and honestly are that good. So If central gets only 3, that leaves 2 spots for a 5th team for the Mid East, AR and GL to try for.
Well there's some info to ponder and start some discussion for you.

uhh Tritinty is ranked ahead of slu and keene, so let not jump to conclusion about how the atlantic region will become "weaker" just because Keene has just beaten Slu, again.
ps. do the homework, compare the times SLU and Keene ran last year and the times this year. This year is a hell lot faster than it was last years.

How the hell does Hunter Norte still have eligibility?
do yours, national rankings don't mean squat to the selection committee.
Hunter is a 4th year senior... how extraordinary!
Could have sworn he'd been around longer than that.
