Doug Brown
Rana Rider - Univ. of Florida assistant
Heather Van Norton - Tulane univ.
Kyle White - Former Univ. of Arkjansas assistant
Stan Rosenthal - Univ. of South Carolina Distance Coach
6/10
Brown - Yes
Rider - No he was fired from Clemson
Van Norman - No
White - No (who is he... really)
Rosenthal - No
Bungard - Maybe
kyle White is that fat looking dude that looks like he should be floating above a football stadium on Saturdays as the Good Year Blimp.
I know just about this wrote:

doug brown is NOT interviewing, just because someone stated that in another thread doesnt make it true
Add Rita to that list...
It seems to me Clemson would be a great job for a sprints/hurdle coach. I would have thought some of the major assistants out there would be scrambling for this job. Has Ken Harnden of FSU looked at it?
Harnden owns half the rental property in Tallahassee. Besides producing on the track, he has a thriving business and therefore has no need to leave FSU.
ROSENTHAL.............?
It will be a minority.....

A USC assistant did interview but no Rosenthal. Realy use your heads people.
A Southern Cal coach has interviewed for the job. If they get him it would be great news.
The Southern Cal assistant who interviewed for the women's distance job a few years ago was not a minority. Maybe its the Southern Cal sprint coach that interviewed. He is a minority.
I heard they are going to hire John Johnson from Southern Cal. Does anyone have info on this guy? My google search came up some minor success butn othing impressive. I don't know if this guy would be right for Clemson. Any comments?
He worked for Ron Alice at Long Beach JUCO before going on to USC. He explores and lives in the GRAY area's of recruiting. His first recruiting trip was the the Commonwealth Championships in BC-Canada in 1994. He was there recruiting without ever taking the NCAA recruiting test. Coaches said they never seen so much USC T-shirts and Hats seen around the Athlete village? When the World Juniors were held in South America in 2000the same comment was " I never seen so many USC T-Shirts and hats before in the athlete village. More suited for selling used tires and rims on Crenshaw Blvd. back in Los Angles, CARaina Rieder(Florida or Tony Veney at UCLA could give you more of a background on the "Crenshaw Bandit"

gangster recruiter...........
Dude, you are wrong, doug brown is wrong.
I am telling you, dont expect miracles with this hire
Confirmed: Doug Brown will be named Director of Track and Field/Cross Country at Clemson on Wednesday.
When they say USC in South Carolina they are not talking about Southern California. They are talking about the University of South Carolina.
They interviewed an assistant coach from USC. It is a minority female coach at the University of South Carolina.
You are wasting everyone's time on some coach from California who probably has nothing to do with this job at all.
It won't be Doug Brown either, unless he had sex change and a skin pigmentation.
