Help! I'm a 21 year old training for XC in the fall, I've been running 90-100 miles a week and I'm getting into pretty good shape. On Friday I'm having a dental procedure done in which my mouth will be wired shut for 2-3 weeks. Do you think I will have to cut back on my mileage? (obviously I would miss the day that I have the surgery) The thing is I won't be able to eat solid food (unless i blend it up) and my oxygen intake will be restricted since I'll only be able to breathe through my nose (well minimally through my mouth).......any ideas? suggestions? thanks everyone...
