Read the post above yours. No one official has done more than lift a phone or recheck a file to "verify" this guy's age. The AD didn't drive 20 miles or even walk across the street in regards to this matter. The school has decided that they will battle internet rumors with internet rumors and have people posting here and "anonymously" mailing people they think will support them. I'm going to bet that like the namesake of the OP, Haile is running masters races in 20 years or under. His documents will be just as "official" then. |

I actually remember quite well many years ago someone telling me how good it was that our 18 year olds got to compete with 25 year olds in college in order to season them for challenges. I said at the time - facetiously - "well why don't we just have our high school kids race 20 year olds then?" Apparently, that joke is now the reality. |

im solomon's maternal godmother and i would just like to say to you all that he is the same age as his mother, at the whereabouts of 43 years of age. this stems from the common defect of when a mother is conceiving a female child, oftentimes the female fetus will develop another fetus inside of it, as was the case with solomon. they were bornt at the same time essentially without regards to seconds but minutes of time. |

in the hartford courant, after he won prize money in a half-marathon in hartford, they said he was coming to the US for 6 months... 6 months later, he enrolls in HS under a different name and different age not saying this itself is proof, but i seriously seriously doubt a journalist would just make up staying for 6 months out nowhere and it's an awfully big coincidence that when the end of his 6 month "visit" came along, he started high school |

Does anyone reading this post know somebody involved with the FL XC meets? If yes, please ask the FL person if FL will verify Haile's age (ask to see for passport) if he is a top finisher at FL Nats? The post reply here. If FL takes the position they will ask to see Haile's passport, I'll bet he DNSs for FL Nats. |
