You forgot the missing american record by like .4 and seting a new college record. Hey what about billy nelson!! Way to represent CU, I am proud to be a buff with both of these performances. Just wait till the 5k!

Me too.
BUFFS
Is that a PR for her? Wasn't it 9:33.95 before?
Time to update the LetsRun rankings! Hope Jenny runs this well in two weeks. Great girl and great for Boulder.

I think she will. From past performances she always gets faster with each race. So its just logical that she'll win USATF and set a new amercian record. But anything can happen in the steeple so I wish her good luck to.

I do not think it's logical that she will win...possible sure. But logical? I have my money on Anna Willard personally. It'll be a great race though, perhaps several will break the record.
How is she in hte flat races? i have to imagine Barringer can throw down a decent 3k and 5k.
I've got Barringer to win the trials. she was a second off the american record today. chick is a badass
Great, great performance by Ms. Barringer. But the women's depth is disappointing. One would think that the rest of the field could be a bit closer.
I disagree. She just ran the fastest time in the country this year. That would be like if a chick busted out a 14:50 in the 5k to move to 2nd on the Trials entry list and the fastest time of the year. The Pros fill in the gap behind her. In the end, these are just college girls. Jenny just busted out a great time. There is still depth when you add in post-collegiate runners.
that girl is a class act. The Brojos think Lauren Fleshman is a great interview, as do I, but I think Barringer is even more well spoken. I hope she makes it to Beijing.

Is it just me or does that chick have ripped shoulders?

I couldn't agree with you more. Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak with her on the phone for an interview and she is well spoken, intelligent, and conducts herself quite respectably as an athlete and student.
She's fast yes, but she is pretty full of herself judging from her interview after the race. modesty is classy, manzano, hernandez, hell even the sprinters were more modest than she was.
there will be a great steeple for women. at least 3 will break the american record.

She won by 25 seconds, what should she say?
Her interview seemed honest and candid to me. What, exactly, was she supposed to say in response to the interviewer's questions?
Stupid comment. Jenny went out and hammered the field. Do you think she should say that the field gave her a close race? I don't think so. She also has a nice butt!

I always find it funny when my fellow MA poster Mrr82 shows up "real" letsrunners over and over again.
