Good luck Bobby. I think he has a legitimate chance to take the win.

McNeill sits and kicks for the win!
No
if it is a kickers race pifer wins.
if it's a fast race vaughn wins.
either scenario curtis is probably in the 2-3 range.
who is Curtis going to sign with??? Stubbs/Nike ..any inside info??

heard kentucky actually. but he's also shown interest in villanova. should be fun to see where he winds up, one of the more talented preps in recent years IMHO.
Bobby will run away with this race. Future olympic runner, maybe this year!
Bobby will win it easy... pifer has run fast 15's but I'm still not convinced he can kick like bobby can.

Bobby will win it just like the 3k indoors! Oh wait....
If it's a fast race he gets second to Vaughn. Slow race, he's still behind Vaughn. Vaughn is on a whole different level then the rest of these guys right now. I'm not trying to put down Bobby's ability he's a great runner, but this is definitly Vaughns year.
I'm going to say Vaughn doesn't win either. I think a darkhorse will come out and steal the show, kind of like the indoor 3k with Alcorn.
I guess will see.
Yes we will, should be a great race. Vaughn kind of reminds me of how Rupp was last year, busts out an insane time and seems like the class of field but come race time I think he will make a poor tactical decision or just plain get outkicked and end up second or something to someone no one was thinking would win. I am in no way bashing Vaughn by saying this, it would be great to see him win. I just have a feeling that is how tonight will go. Can't wait to see it.
Curtis was second only to Solinsky last year in a solid off moderate fractioned 13:39, he is way better than a year ago.
Vaughn was a very very good Xc runner, top 5 twice?.
Curtis was 15th as a soph and 4th this year , injured year before probably a top 10 type then.
He just ran 3:40.x for 1500
Vaughn's best is 3:43.x
In a slow race, my money would easily be on Curtis, in a moderate race, maybe a toss up, with Pifer right there in a mid 13:30's 40's race as well..
There is no other race, no one is going out and running 13:20's solo at NC meet, just is not happeneing, I do not think.

It's not so much middle distance PRs that help you win as much as it is who is fresher with a lap to go....which will be Vaughn.
