Borner from Bethel.
Jordahl from UW River Falls, Mitchell from UW Oshkosh, Tropiano from Amherst. Those 3 have excellent chances of taking the win.
Wendy Pavlus from SLU a dark horse...Peter Kosgei for the win by a few seconds.
Good luck to all who are racing.
Wendy Pavlus of SLU has an outside shot at breaking the tape. She looked great at the atlantic regional.

a few quick thoughts:
- Cortland's Ego is unjustifiably inflated right now. They are good, but not that good.
- What about Brian Butzler's leg speed?
- How many golf carts will be present on Hanover's course, and what plan is Willy Kaul planning to evade these carts?
- Is anyone else fearing the oatbag?
Actually, this is Hannity, not Colmes here:
I am concerned about the golf carts. Kaul was able to recover from the Notre Dame incident and didn't press charges against the Stevens Point coach, apparently.
Now Butzler's leg speed is not debatable.
I have no idea what an oatbag has to do with this meet but I am open to learning so give me an explanation.
Cortland will not win.

Can anyone confirm that Kosgei has a torn left quadricept? There were rumors in the local newspapers that he was injured on a morning practice during strides.
True or Troll?
Not true. The local newspapers don't cover XC whatsoever. The only coverage so far is from WKTV with an article copy-and-pasted from Hamilton's website with meet information. Nothing about an injury.
I’m leaving shortly for Hanover (staying in Madison actually) any good pubs in the area? Do you think they’ll let us on the run the course in the early morning before the race or will they keep people off of it to preserve footing? How’s the weather there?
Madison WI is like 8 hours from Hanover.

anyone know what the deal is with the streaming coverage? The men's race goes off at 11 (15 minutes from now) but the it looks like the video feed doesn't start until noon. Are we missing the men's race?
the race goes off at 11:00 AM central time, 12:00 pm EST.
You sure about that? Seems odd, given that hanover is in the eastern time zone.
