I have pretty bad posture, and my chest pops all the time, similar to if you were cracking your back or your neck or whatever, but in my chest about 2 or 3 inches above my sternum. Somtimes it really hurts and I've been thinking about going to a doctor but I'm poor. Does this ever happen to anyone? What can I do to make it better?
happens to me too sometimes, it's quite weird. i guess I've worked on stretching out my back and upper arms- it seems to help to just try to be more flexible. i don't think it's anything really serious tho.

That happens to me every morning. It seems to reduce tension in my lower back.
i can pop my chest at will. it doesn't hurt.
the left side of my sternum sticks out further than the right side. the imbalance bothers me, but maybe it's due to the heart underneath.
i have bad posture and shoulders too.
get it checked out. maybe see a chiropractor. best of luck.
Same thing here. I went and saw a doctor, and she called it costochrondistis, or something like that. It was about a year ago, and I can't remember exactly. However, it is just some inflamation between the ribs. Stretch, take NSAIDs when needed, and make sure you have a good mattress. That was her advice at least. It's better now, but still gives me problems every now and then.
