Four weeks is an eternity.
I agree with you, everyday i sit at school thinking,"this really blows," and how excited I am for summer. I would rather work, because at least then you'll have something to show for it a the end of the day.
What I would give for a return to running, studying, taking an occasional test in high school and trying to get laid (always unsuccessfully) and racing, enjoy these times in high school kid, expectations and responsibilities are low and they will never be again.
I haven't had time to sit and think, but I pretty much have to study all the time

bullshit, I hate high school, work, SEVERAL tests a week, studying at home, having parents, liking girls who aren't into you, etc
Get over it.

Maybe if you didn't spend so much time on letsrun...
you sound pretty lame.
The AP's aren't that hard mate. I took 8 when I was in high school and went into undergrad with about 30 credits. I don't think I studied more than a few hours for any of them. Even had a day I took 2 back to back. They really aren't that bad, considering you're in school 8 hours a day getting ready for them having mandatory study sessions basically.
Hundreds of hours studying? Really?
I am about 2 years out of college and all I can say is enjoy it.
When I was in college I used to think back to high school and wish I had enjoyed it some more.
Now I also look back in college and wish I had taken the time to enjoy that some more.
Don't get me wrong, I had tons of fun at both, but you don't take the time to really sit and think of how great you have it, until it's gone. High school you are not really taking any SUPER hard classes. You have plenty of time to spend with your friends, and you can actually be a badass in XC and track.

30 years of working will cure you.
Life only gets busier. High school seems like a cakewalk now, and I'm sure college will seem like one when I start my career. I took several AP classes as well, and as others have stated, never studied more than a few hours for each.
To the OP: MAN UP!
Don't like it?
Just quit.
There are a multitude of careers out there waiting for you.
McD's, 7-11, Seasonal Harvest Labor, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Burger King, Pumping Gas, Workin at the Car Wash, Cutting Grass, Raking Leaves, Shovelling Snow, Driving Taxi, Selling Vacuums.
It'll do wonders for your running too, chasing down the bus to make it work on time.
I've been working 30 years and school did suck.
arrogant profs and cramming for 3 finals in 2 days
there are no finals in life

Maybe part of your problem with school is your lack of understanding of pronouns. I also dislike it when I like a girl who isn't into ME. I couldn't care less, on the other hand, if I like a girl who isn't into YOU. Or maybe you really meant that you hate it when you like a girl and she isn't into SDRunner, which would be a bit odd.
i agree, i hated high school. it was like being in an overgrown daycare center. college was a lot more fun (for me anyway) - i was doing things that i was actually interested in (classes, running, etc) and it's not near as cliquey (sp?) and i could go and get a beer or have a chance at getting laid without re-encating an episode of mission: impossible.
Does anybody like school?
Been out of college for 15 years and pull more all nighters now than I ever did.
School only affects you. My job = my paycheck = essential for my family of 5.
I always hated school, and I went for many, many years. (No, not third grade over and over. I went to four years of grad school after college.) In fact, I still have bad dreams about it. I strongly urge you to suck it up, and just keep going. Eventually, you'll get through it, and you will be far better for it.
Just another bit of helpful advice from your OldXCguy.
