Too bad, her position for a potential Silver at OG/Trials Gold now in question I'm sure.
Hammies hurt big time you got that right.
They're actually pretty good photos....better than some I see by alleged "professionals."
That's one race only. Athletic Trainers, Message Therapists will have her back by next week.
And please don't flame all of the dedicated volunteers who give us free videos and pictures from the track/cross/marathons/road-races. Those guys spend their own money and give their time working for hours on the infield, the photo buggy, the motorcycle. Without them there would be no free streaming videos, articles, quotes, interviews, pictures, etc.
In most cases, anyone who promotes TnF should be given encouragement unless they're inaccurate, derisive, clueless, etc. Perhaps you have a legit issue, but what's your beef with this Randy guy?
The shots of Perry are a very good sequence of photos...very clear, comprehensive. They're taken from the right spot and they tell the story of what happened to her. So what's the complaint about the photographer?

wineturtle made no mention of the photos or photographer.
I equate how bad the hammy is to how high you jump. A tweak you pull up, a mild strain you hop a bit. The problem is getting worse the more you look like a jack in the box. If you shoot up high enough to look Yao Ming in the eye it's good buy season at OG finalist level. From the photo she looks to have been on the uncomfortable side of mild pull. Am looking for quotes or reports from her camp but found none.
What's her prognossis ? Will Perry be able to continue onto Eugene ?
I don't think this is the first time she's had this problem.
Hurdles don't get much attention on here, but the women's 100-meter hurdles is a much improved event in this country. Just making the Olympic team is going to be tough.
Is Michelle still doing the Hep ? That would be something is she doubled in Beijing.
No Hep for Michelle
Anyone who won a WC gold has definitely found her event. She oughta just stick with that, except for training of course.
