He was a head of the pacer after 100 meters. He is really to roll if someone can help him out.

We will have it up right after the meet on this page. OSN has the rights to the "almost live" video...

We have an interview with him on the way as well.

For D3 fans, note that O'Brien is now #1 ahead of Kosgei in the 800. Albeit, not solo or leading out in 52 flat.

Jeremy Mims looks to be back in form as well - he went 1:45 as a senior, this is the first year he has put up some comparable performances. Boaz doesn't need a pacer for the first 400 - he always rolls that part of the race. I am wondering what will happen when he has someone with him at the end of the race!
next D3 stud

Watch out for Jimmy O, the next D3 stud and he is only a junior. He first race in a big time meet. Not too bad at all.

Here is the video, we had to chop it down a bit to stay under our allocated time limit for the meet (OSN is showing it on TV next week and we are thankful we get to post anything).

anyone know gered burns' time? it says he DNFed, but there was an interview on runnerspace that said he had won the second heat - so i think that's a mistake. i'm pretty sure his time broke into the top-5 so i'm curious to hear what it was.

Jeremy Mims is from Iowa City and was on the same high school team as Michelle Lilienthal (Team USA MN, 2:35:51 marathon).

How old is Boaz Lalang? I know a lot of Kenyans go there to get their grades up and then transfer to D1 schools.

The stuff I've seen says he's 19. Don't know how to prove that, but I'll take it at face value for now.
