A little help please, maybe RunDaddy...?

    I am hoping to get a little help finding something, and I thought a few people on LetsRun could help.

    I am thinking of doing some Humanitarian work for a year or two after college - I am a Junior - and I would love to just dip my toes in the water prior to making any decisions by participating on some message boards related to the issues.

    I am not sure I want to do PeaceCorps, but maybe that is what i will do. I guess I just wanted to ask if there were any message boards like LetsRun, but for Humanitarian workers in foreign countries. I would like to just see what people say and maybe ask a few questions.

    For some reason I though RunDaddy might know of some.

    You might want to check with George Soros Projects in New York City. Not sure how you can contact them, but that should not be too hard. They do a lot of work with emerging economic programs in both third world countries and in Eastern European and Asian countries.

    Check these two out for starters. Don't know if you're interested in domestic or overseas work. There are also a ton of NGOs to look into. Some are religious based (like Catholic Relief Services), and others are secular.
