anyone else on here love world of warcraft?

That game is worse than crack cocaine. Stay away.
It's also less fun than crack cocaine.
i love it and play it everyday haha.
regardless of what all the haters say, it's actually incredibly fun
I used to play medal of honor and call of duty for 10's of hours a week. Now that I'm in graduate school, I don't have time and I think back wondering...why did I waste my time with that crap.
I've found that people who play WoW have poor social habits, and usually kill their children and/or are obese.
They will do whatever necessary to fund their addiction, including working menial jobs they feel are 'below' them, and stealing money. They attempt to appear superior, but are inferior in every way. Usually they have problems communicating, and either have poor relationships or none at all, unless it is with another WoW addict.
I wonder what all of these people would do if the power went out for an hour.
Um...
-I play WoW
-I have an excellent relationship with my girlfriend, who does not play.
-I am not obese (5'10", 138 lbs.), and have never killed anyone's children.
-While I don't have a job (I'm in high school), I am ranked in the top 5% of my class by GPA.
Oh, and I'm probably also faster than you.
Bad ass.

Well I hope you have run under 15:40, because a few months ago some guy had everyone post their 5k PR and found that was the median time on letsrun. So if you are going to make a claim like that you better be under 15:40.
I'm faster than that. That's all I'll say.
Shouldn't you be getting on the bus and going to school now?
The people who are most pleased with World of Warcraft are those who are still playing Dungeons and Dragons or involved in Fantasy Baseball.
Why?
Their height on the geekdom ladder went down a rung -- supplanted at the top by people who play World of Warcraft.
[do note that people who attend Star Trek Conventions have their own category.]
Nope. The only video game that I play very often at all is Counterstrike Source. I like that game because you can have fun and be relatively good at it without dedicating much time to it. From what I've seen of WoW, it's like having a job.

i don't have poor social habits at all, i run everyday, i work, i go to school, i go out with friends a lot, and i really play WoW because i seriously enjoy it. it's like a little community in it's self, it's a lot of fun.
also note that i'm only 19 and still play video games. but whatever, i have a few guildies that are in their 30s and 40s
I play WoW regularly, although not as seriously as a lot of the people on there.
I am also in a serious relationship with a total hottie, have lots of friends, go to grad school full-time, read for school and for fun, and work as a volunteer coach. I don't like first person shooters, so WoW is a way for me to "hang out" with my old friends who live far away. We'll run around and do a few quests while we talk about what's been happening in our lives. I am the only one still in school; the others are all gainfully employed with full-time jobs (real jobs, not stock boys or something). We are also all runners, and some of us are faster than average.
Noone in our group watches much t.v., and two of us don't even have one. WoW is what we do to relax and to keep in touch with each other. It may be more socially acceptable, but I find the people who sit around all night waiting for American Idol to be far higher in the loser category.
I'm an arcane fire mage. Suck it.
No MF-ing way the median in letsrun is 15:40. No. F-ing. Way.
Im a sl/sl lock. GG K THX
Interesting.
I play World of Warcraft 3 hours a day and have achieved Grand Master Wizard status faster than anyone in the world. I also date two smoking hotties that don't know about each other, attend Harvard Law, and I also run 120 mpw just wearing socks. (I invented minimalism.)
I am also a voracious reader and happen to be a guest lecturer on the Scottish Enlightenment at top universities around the world. I had a job making $10 million a year but I decided to go to Harvard Law and train for the American record in the mile instead. I'm also so popular that nightclubs in Vegas pay me $20,000 per appearance. I always give the money away to charity.
We should run around and do some quests together sometime!
