I'm running the 1200m leg of my teams DMR at our conference meet. I have never ran a 1200 before and have no idea what a good time for me would be. I've ran a 2:39 1000m and a 2:02 in the 800.

when I was 14 I ran 3:21.
3:00
Definetly 3:00. But if you run 2:02 then try to shoot for 3:15.
Usually 1200 pace is halfway between 800 pace and mile pace. For example, 2:02 and 4:28 is (61+67)/2=64, so you would run 3:12.
3:12-3:13. This is a good event for a tune up for milers.
