Nothing special. Take 1:43 ability, train it Coe-style, add EPO and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 1:41.
There was a page in his training manual that got ripped out before Wilson got to read it, avoid mosquitoes carrying MALARIA!
Thanks for letting us know that your claims are without basis in reality.
Wilson was clean and simply the best.
Smoothest most talented runner I've even seen.
CLEAN. EPO doesnt give you incredible form.
The two are not mutually exclusive. Doesn't prove he was clean (or that he wasn't). Only he knows.

Nobody had better form than me. And I was clean. Oh so very clean:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q9_N8YzZ6UA friend of mine was in St. Moritz training with Andre Bucher and sent me an email which did mention some of Wilson's sessions....see below
Wilson is some what of a loner in the training area and really seems to not like others seeing what he does. Normally training at about 1.30 when most athletes have left the track and are eating. I did witness two sessions a 3x 1000 (2.25, 2.25, 2.26) with 12 rec and a 3x 600,300 session in (76/77,35) with 5 and 12 recover and looked incredible.

If Peter Snell, who wasn´t exactly the smoothest guy around, could run 1,44 on grass, them why shouldn´t Wilson, who has one of the best running forms ever seen be able to run 1,41? You truly are an idiot!
Please tell more details - I am very intersted in it. I heard from a friend who was in St. Moritz in 1998 that Kipketer did a couple of 400s in 47/48 sec and everyone around stopped his training to watch him running because of his great running style.
Wilson Kipketer used Peter Coe/ Frank Horwill's 5-Pace Training
Day 1: 3 x 2000m or (2 x 1,200m) + (1 x 800m) + (2 x 400m) 5000m pace
Day 2: Fartlek Run
Day 3: 6 to 8 x 800m 3000m pace
Day 4: Distance Running
Day 5: 16 to 30 x 200m alternating with 10 x 400m 1500m pace
Day 6: Rest day if race the next day, or fartlek if not
Day 7: Race or time trial
Day 8: 4 to 6 x 400m or 9 x 300m 800m pace
Day 9: Distance running on roads
Day 10: 1 x 300m + 2 x 200m + 4 x 100m + 8 x 60m 400m pace
Wilson was crap over 1500m/Mile so i doubt he did any of these sessions
The training is my secret and if I told you what it was, it wouldn't be a secret anymore! I keep the secret in my heart.
Wilson Kipketer, when asked about his training prior to the World Indoor Champs, 1997

BOOM! Welcome to LetsRun, omar, you are sure to like it here.
I recall somewhere on these boards (so take this with a grain of salt) that one of Kipketer's favortie workouts was 50x100m (don't know the pace) which sounds like an Igloi/Schul/Gray workout.
JRinaldi do you have any other recollections of Kipketer considering you are probay more in the know than anyone here?
Bump it.
1:41 on Epo is worth 1:45 clean.
