There's a link. I say no chance of the WR for Wariner now.
Another link from ESPN:

Two articles linked on the front page of T&FN site: http://www.trackandfieldnews.com
...or(think Rocky 5) Michael Johnson can coach him, and he will leave Michael for another high profile coach just before the olympics. Then he will get cocky and challenge Michael to a race but Michael will not accept. Eventually after Wairner and his new coach refuse to back off he and Johnson will race 400 meters down the streets of Philadelphia. Michael will win by less than .01 second. Wairner will grow a mullet.
Maybe he'll move up to 800m after the Olympics!
he is going to change coaches and get caught. Hart is saving his name
That's idiotic. Why would you make a change when things are going so well? AIN'T BROKE/DON'T FIX!!!!!!
Why? Did you read the article? Money!
its all to bad. You hate to see something working so well end over money. It will be intersting to see if MJ coaches and if they change anything or if he just finds a new coach. With Merrit getting faster he could get suprised.
Since MJ is his agent, do you think this is a MJ stunt or a Wariner decision.
I would tell Wariner to dump MJ. To have the WR holder of the event that you are trying to beat as your agent is just blame stupid.
F*** MJ.
I always knew the Greeks were hirsute, but the author of that article is taking it a bit too far!

Boo Malmo, boooo! (just kidding)
So Wariner is switching coaches? Good, now maybe he can do something worthwhile like RUN THE 800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now Wariner can take up the discus!

OMG!!1!1! You are so right... in fact why doesn't he jump up to the marathon with that speed. After all, everyone knows the longer the race the more it matters.
The fact is he has a chance to be one of the all time best at his events... why can't you all just appreciate greatness, even if it is in an event you couldn't even imagine running competively
how much should a coach of a national/world class athlete pay the coach who got the athlete to perform at that high level?
base salary plus % of winnings? what is the formula?
insights and specifics please.

Ok, this might be bonehead thing to say, but who coaches Merrit? I did not read the articles, but you all sound like Hart is God. He is not the only good 400 coach. Unless Wariner is doping and Hart just found out and said "hey kid i'll keep quiet for another 5%," so now theyre breaking up over money...I dont see that the end is near. Merrit is doing something right...wait, maybe he hired Hart. We'll know in about 3 months.

F*** MJ.
Geb has Jos Hermens as his agent. Broke a few of JH's records.
Having said that though reminds me of Joe Falcon and John McDonnell. Stupid move.
