What a bummer. Woman comes out and tells all, sets a good example, or a precedant really for all dopers, then gets this punishment. She has all my respect.
Pretty sad.
wtf?? she's lucky she didn't get more. the whore sets a good example??? if she had it her way, she would have never been caught in the first place! she doesn't give a shit. she got busted. and the only way you will catch these sluts is to bust them.
good example... give me a break. even when they do get caught they try to squirm out of it. f*** off already.

Is it really "admitting" after you have been caught? I DO feel sorry for her, but I feel MORE sorry for the other athletes that lost places on USA Teams or medals or sponsorships OR the ability to earn a livable wage... because she was cheating.
i am really baffled by how people can feel sorry for her?
is it because she is a woman? black woman at that?
the bitch is everything that is wrong with the "elite" of this world. f***en suitcases full of money coming over from venezuela, half the sporting world on steroids, dog fighting on their mansion properties, stealing elections in florida, kenya, gunning down journalist in russia, covering up priest molestations with million dollar pay offs etc etc etc and who knows what kind of information usatf is holding back... all for what- money & power or to keep their money & power.
justin gatlin
cj hunter
tim montgomery
marion jones
etc etc etc
f*** em all
i cant beleive you feel pity or anything else for that bitch.
The time to set a good example was perhaps when she was first accused of doping by Conté. If she'd have come straight out and said "Yup it's a fair cop, here are the names of 556 others who are cheating" that's a good example, not saying you are "clean" and have never doped and don't know anything about forged checks and whatever.Woman's a cheat AND a liar, 6 months inside (which she probably won't serve all of) seems fair enough.

As much as I dislike Marion, she's a scapegoat especially if we don't see any white male athletes joining her. Yes, I am using the race and gender card in this situation.
oh so now doping control has to be in line with affirmative action?? unless jeremy wariner is on something and gets busted, thats not going to happen. maybe we would have more white males joining her but the NHL isn't exaclty the hottest sport these days. dumb ass. the majority of the mainstream sporting world is black. fill in the blanks.
you probably still live off your parents and have never had to make it yourself in this world. get out there and make it in the real world and you will see that race & gender are the platforms of people who just cant hack it and need a reason to explain why they cant.
everyone wants to be rich and famous... well, it aint gonna f***en happen. it would be a much more cordial world if everyone got off that train of thought.
i hope her cellmate nicknames her "precious"
There is nothing funny about this news. I don't agree with what she did, and she deserves to be punished, however I feel bad for her as her life is already in shambles.

What white male athlete has lied in a federal grand jury investigation and got away with it?
Didn't Rafael Palmero lie to Congress? What ever happened to that?

Actually, that's never been proved. His positive test for steriod use occurred several months after he testified to Congress that he had never used steriods. So it's possible (ha ha) that he was telling the truth to Congress and used steriods for the first time subsequent to his testimony.
I think some congressional committee later said that they would not seek perjury charges against good ol' Rafi.
you yanky retards....i cant understand how any of you dumb sh1ts can feel sorry for that cheating bitch. okay she came out and admitted it after she knew she would be busted...but she would still be on the juice now if she knew she could get away with it. And please stop bringing up this racism issue...you guys are obsessed with racism and thats why america is the most racist nation in the world.
peace homies.
Mr Broken Arrow
I was laughing at the comment that Joe90 made about "Marion can now make lesbian porn prison movies on the first page. There is no reason to jump to conclusions on somebody response without looking very carefully of who I was responding to. I very well understand the legal consequences that Marion is facing ,and know it is not funny.
Maybe Kevin Costner will do a Marion Jones prison film, Dances with Miss Bubba. That stupid c*** Marion got what she deserved. She dumps C.J. when he gets caught doping, has a bastard child with Timmy M. and then lies to the Feds. Stupid whore ought to kill herself and save the tax payers some money.

Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
