I'm not sure how this came up. But my buddies and I were watching the NFL games last Thursday (how bout them Cowboys?) and at one point someone conjectured, "Could any player in the NFL break 10 minutes in the 2 mile?"
Most everyone said "No way." Then someone raised the interesting possibility that there could be kickers that were ex soccer players with amazing natural endurance - maybe they could do it.
So here are my 2 questions
1) Is there anyone in the NFL who at their current level of midseason fitness could break 10 flat for 2 mile (heck even 3200)?
2) Is there anyone in the NFL who could break 10 flat if they trained for it?
Your thoughts?

PS. I'm more interested in hearing about non-kickers but it's all pretty interesting.
