Who's got some ivy league XC predictions for this year? Which programs are gonna be on the rise during the next few years? Who will take the men's and women's team titles?

Cornell XC will come from nowhere and destroy people. This year and especially next.
Right...the team that just got their asses kicked by Army are really going to take the League by storm this year. The "fake" Ivy is going to finish in its predestined spot...dfl. Maybe these scrubs should be kicked out along with Navy.
for some reason i think a new cornell freshman made that last comment. could be wrong though...
i meant the post before that....heh heh
big green, as long as they can stay healthy, will dominate the ivies yet again
for some reason i think a new dartmouth freshman made that last comment. could be wrong though...
anyone got any full predictions?
This thread shows how stupid Ivy League runners are. C'mon, don't you guys have anything witty to say? You're supposed to be smart!
That being said, these are my predictions. Keep in mind I don't even pay attention to the Ivy League.
1)Dartmouth
2)Princeton
3)Brown
Shoemaker will win it, but Colangelo will be close behind.
Hey Asshole, you are a duche bag and your predictions suck my ass
ummm, where did you come up with those predictions? explain how those teams and individuals will place where you have them.
oh boy ivy leaugue shit. well, colangelo, yeah he'll be up there, gaudette perhaps, or you know... whatever and ever amen... yup.
1)Columbia
2)Dartmouth
3)Princeton
4)Brown
5)Penn
Sundell wins followed closely by Shoemaker and then Lieb.
uh, the season just started, so I'm saving my predictions for a few weeks from now
I think Oakes' thoughts aren't too far off, although I could see Princeton / Dartmouth beat Columbia. I can't believe I'm actually mentioning Columbia considering their paucity of Heps titles (I think its 0 on the track). They have improved in XC however.
they got one i think. 1979.
Brown pulls a close upset over Dartmouth and Columbia.
These are the individual players, though I can't say yet who will take it. It'll be close
Jarod Shoemaker - Dartmouth - Last years Heps champ in a fast time, was injured most of the track season, now healthy.
Steve Sundel - Columbia - Indoor and outdoor 5k champ, NCAA qualifier in 5k outdoors, fast kick.
Pat Tarpy - Brown - 3:46 1500m runner, 5th at Heps last year, 24:25 so far this season.
Alastair Mclean-Foreman - Harvard - Fast miler, took last year off - 24:48 so far this season.
Jeff Guadette - Brown - Outdoor 10k champ, 14:09 indoor 5k.
Dusty Leib - Penn - 26th? in NCAA XC meet last year, 14:08 indoor 5k, injured in outdoors.
Tristen Colangello - Princton - NCAA outdoor qualifier in steeple 8:50ish, 14:05 5k, good mile speed.
will be a tight finish
Well, it's very simple. Dartmouth will win because it will have the lowest number of total team points. Brown and Princeton will ALMOST have as few points as Dartmouth, so they will come in BEHIND Dartmouth.
As for Shoemaker, I believe he will win because he will finish running the course before anyone else.
DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO YOU, "REPLY"?
no, you critical bastard, you just dont know what you're talking about and i wanted to see if you have any logic to back up your predictions. i now see you don't.
Penn is going to be totally sweet this year! i hear they have this new freshman who someone called slow so he totally killed everyone in the whole town! then he ran 43 miles at 6 minute pace before doing 3x20x400 at 53 seconds per lap
holy shit! when i read your post i got so pumped i headbutted my coach!
