Wow! Wow! What a GAME!
They MUST change the rule about coaches calling time outs at the last second. Amazingly the kicker didn't let it faze him.
Best finish of an NFL game I've ever watched. I'm not even a Dallas fan.

I think this is all that needs to be said.
But yes, what a ridiculously great/exciting/dramatic game.
all of buffalo is on suicide watch right now. i like these comparisons of tony romo to brett favre right now, at this rate he could get the all time interceptions mark before favre!
Just like the Auburn-Florida game..
that is such chicken shit calling time out right before the snap for the field goal
Generally Romo does not throw many interceptions. He did have 5 tonight but normally his INTs are low compared to most QBs. A few of those were not his fault as well, unlucky/fluke INTs. But in the end, still INTs.
by a rookie kicker no less!!! bested his previous lifetime best twice!!!
that was the most rowdy last 30 seconds of an NFL game in a loooooong time
you know you would do it too in the same situation!!! Whatever it takes within the rules to try and win. Just part of strategy! Not a bills or dallas fan btw

its chicken shit plain and simple....why do they do it? the kicker could just as easy missed the first shot at it then he would have a second chance. First it was rat teeth in Denver against Oakland, then Urban Meyer (human garbage). And no, I wouldn't do it...this is a new thing and only sorry bastards do it.
if you are a handicapper, you had to love this match-up...a home dog on MNF is high % play (hope all of you collected or caught up). As good as the Cowboys have played, you had to know this was going to be a close one. Thanks Bills!!!
obviously not so plain and simple! if they call 5 seconds in advance is it okay? what is the time limit before they can call a timeout? coaches have been callin timeouts forever to try and ice kickers!!!

this is where you are wrong. this is a new trend in football that we will see a rule change next year. when you are the head coach talking to the ref planning the entire time to call a time out a milisecond before the snap it's a little more than calling a time out because you don't have enough men on the field. this never happened before this year.
Icing has been going on since I've been alive and watching football. The difference, and the thing everyone is complaining about, is that coaches have been given the authority to call timeouts from the sideline, and they're waiting to do so until the ball is nearly snapped. In the past the timeouts were called as the team was setting up on the line of scrimmage.
I'll bet that most of the desire for a rule change is held by the fans and media.

One of the first things Wade Phillips said in his press conference was that rule needs to be changed. Both Steve Young and Emmitt (I guess they are media) said it was "childish", "ticky tacky" when you could tell they really wanted to say "chicken shit"

Home dog Bengals did not look too good last week but this made up for it. Bills defense was a little tougher that Bungles.....
A guy in my fantasy league needed a mere six points from Romo and Owens last night to pull out the win. Looked like a sure victory, but his opponent had Dallas' kicker and ended up crushing him. It was beautiful.
This is a new tactic that needs to be changed. They also need to get rid of the delay of game call for spiking the ball after a play. That one they called on Owens last night was pure BS. Portis got one for the Redskins for throwing the ball up from his back after a play. Just a ridiculous call.
yes the game was redic. and the bills should have won that. all they had to do was recover an onside kick. but one thing i don't understand is why people are talking about changing or making it impossible or illegal to call a timeout before a kick. you can do it before any other play just the same way so why should it be different for a field goal?
I invented that tactic.
2 years ago, I was watching a game and the opposing coach called 3, consecutive time outs to \"ice\" the kicker.
I looked at my son and said, \"That is useless. It doesn\'t \"ice\" anyone. What a coach needs to do is wait just before the ball is snapped then call it. That way, the kicker doesn\'t know if the time out is coming or if his kick is going to count. That would play on his mind more than just calling time outs while he\'s standing there waiting for everyone to line up.\"
I should go in to coaching.
