nyu/cortland
St. John's MN, only graduates their 6th runner. Also, LaCrosse is returning a good core. Not sure if either have a shot at the win, but should be top 10.
It should be very interesting. If you look at alot of the top 10 teams there are not very many sr. This means it should be the same people going at it again. Looking at track cortland is going to be good. But dont count calvin out ever......

Cortland will be good, but looking at their track times dont forget their top 2 guys were both 5th year guys, Joslyn and cloke.... who wont be there for xc.
NYU returns the most, and had their whole top 5 on the track lists, Calvin returns 5 of 7, Lacrosse will be good, St Johns looks strong, strong leader up front, as well as TCNJ and Haverford who were both top 10ish last year with the help of 1-2 high finishers.
Hillsdale usually puts out a decent squad...
North Central College had a very young group last year. They should be quite improved.
The atlantic region teams all seem so deep, specifically NYU and Cortland.
Can they be beat?
Of course they can be beat... the question is will they be beat?
Boggs FTW?
St. Johns is going to be dang good, as long as they can have a solid fifth runner.
i like haverford's chances as they were 10th at nationals and are bringing 6 of their top 7 runners back. Yes they are losing their top runner but if you look at the results from the mideast regional last year at waynesburg youll see their 2 guy was only 2 seconds behind him and their 3, 4, 5, and 6 runners were all within 15 seconds of each other and the 3 was only 40 seconds behind their 2. I'm not really going by the fact that they had 5 guys under 27 mintues and the 6th guy just over because the course at regionals was mostly very flat and it was a fast race and the little bit of rain before the race had very little effect on the course. i'm going by had well they placed at nationals and how close time-wise their team was 1 through 6 last year at regionals. I'm only looking at their regional times because it was easier to put together than looking at their times from nationals
who does St. Johns have besides Erichsen and Fermoyle? those were their only dudes who provod for nats?

if you'd looked at anything but regionals you'd have realized that they aren't losing their top runner.
also, you were obviously not in the race at regionals if you thought it was a fast course on that day. it was easily the second muddiest course I ran on last year (and we all know the first). having 5 guys under 27 isn't that impressive, they've achieved far more than that on faster courses.
haverford will be decent because they have Lett's and Ramsey- North back. After that they have a group who has not proven anything yet. Having 2 in the top 25 will do alot for you, look at TCNJ last year, as well as Haverford.
Calvin
NYU
Cortland
Lacrosse
