I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I eat one every day. Today I'm eating raspberry jelly on wheat bread with smucker's natural peanut butter. It's great.
How does your lunch compare to PB&J?

Ham salad on wheat. Less fat and sugar than yours; likely about the same amount of protein. I win.
No way. PB&J is perfect. Ham salad is no comparison, and sounds disgusting.
High five, I like you.
i'm with you on this one...pb&j rocks my world. and ham salad sounds disgusting. also yesterday i had pb & banana. mmmmmmmmmm
Peanut butter and bannana sandwich for breakfast
Tuna salad sandwich for lunch.
Tomorrow for breakfast I will have peanut butter with this awesome new fruit spread they are selling at Costco. Whole blueberry's, pomegranite with low sugar. I eat it by the spoonfull it's so good.
eating PBJ right now..for lunch
Sandwichs have been the thing lately...toast w/pumpkin butter and cinn.
PBJ or Hummus and Veggies for lunch
Veggie burger for dinner
I'd say on average, I have PB&J 4 out of 5 weekdays for lunch. And almost always, a soda, carrot sticks, yogurt, Swiss Rolls, and something like crackers or pretzels.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Those poor littel peanuts were killed just so you can have a freakin PB&J. Not to even mention those poor littel berries plucked at the prime of their lives. You brutal, brutal bast__d.
How can you live with yourself?
Wow that is pretty hilarious! Did you just think that up? That is amazing. You must have a really high IQ or maybe you are just one of those really quick witted people.
Actually you are probably not that smart or you would not have mispelled little twice in a short 4 sentence post.
Next time you are going to make fun of someone come up with something halfway original.

Original....hmmmmm
like pointing out people's typing mistakes. Or insulting their intelligence.
Thanks for posting, after your post mine does look somewhat original.
Good points. Those thoughts crossed my mind. I just didn't want you to get away with a lame insult against the vegrunner.
Vegetarian is the way to go and I think most vegetarians get way too much crap from people and it's always the same thing. I wouldn't mind near as much if it was something new and somewhat funny.
There you go, honesty. Pretty original on letsrun.
Ok I'll give honesty a try.
I have nothing against vegetarians or vegans. I do eat meet but not all that much of it and could probably switch to vegetarian without much of a problem.
My previous post was an attempt (lame as it might have been) at humor rather than trying to slam vegetarians. My kids watch the Veggie-Tales cartoons some times and I can just see little peanuts or strawberries running around in my mind's eye. As it was the first thing that came to mind when I read the post in question so I used it for my attempt at a quick witted response.
It was totally TIC not ATTACK.
organic crunchy peanut butter
Guys, gals, whoever! Can we please steer this conversation back toward PB&J, where it belongs.
I've constructed an Ode to Peanut Butter and Jelly:
Oh beautiful sandwich
With the perfect amount of peanut butter,
But a little too much jelly
That drips when I squeeze too hard,
You are about to be eaten.
Let's talk about the different combinations that we can make - almond butter and blueberry jelly on sour dough bread is one of my personal favorites... there are just so many options!
I have a decent workout ahead of me tonight, and I just know that the PB&J I ate for lunch will give me the strength to get through it.
I prefer peanut butter with honey. Preferably it would be peanut butter with no sugar added.
Banana is good too.
I've recently made a switch (temporary?) from smooth to crunchy. I like it. I like this thread. I like lunch time love.
White Wonder sandwhich bread
Creamy JIF peanut butter (generous amount)
Smuckers Strawberry Preserves (a little too much)
Cut in half
With a cold glass of chocolate milk
And double stuffed oreo cookies for desert
I think I could do Western States if I had that waiting for me at every 10 mile aid station.
I do everything I can to eat healthy foods, rarely eat fast foods and am an avid ingredient reader on all packages.
There is one thing I REFUSE compromise.
Skippy chunky peanut butter is one of the greatest products created by mankind.
I don't care how much sugar is in it, I will never give it up.
Since childhood, I have eaten it on sandwiches, crakers, with a knife, spoon and my fingers and will continue to do so as long as I am on this earth.
true story...PB&J at least 5 days a week
and PB & Banana the others
Lived in Australia for several months and my friends over there couldn't believe we went through so much peanut butter. "What in the world are you guys doing with all that peanut butter?!" Making PB & J's, of course!
PB & J's rock, down with Vegemite!
I go back and forth between creamy and crunchy, also with flavors of jellies/jams/preserves. Sometimes I have PB & banana, or sometimes PB & Honey. As a kid, I really loved PB & marshmallow (fluffer-nutters? but that's a really gay term...)
So easy to make
Essential fats and proteins
And tastes delicious
Garth... that was a haiku.
