That AmeriKenyan stuff is a huge scam. Those Africans are getting screwed, as well as the Americans they are beating.
What do you mean when you say scam?cause i believe that their is no scam in a name,if their should be one, then all names are scam.
the people who take them to the races get a cut of the money, they aren't just saints. Plus, this just gives the Kenyans a little bit of cash to take home. I'd rather they put them in college so they can have something useful, instead of money that will disappear soon.

The fastest four mile ever run on USA soil (or anywhere else for that matter) was 19:28 by Delillah Asiago (KEN), at the Steamboat Classic in Peoria, IL on 17-Jun-1995. That is still the ARRS world record (no IAAF world record for 4 miles). Emily Chebet ran 19:30 in KC, on a point-to-point course (Steamboat is a loop).

Some are in school. The second guy(Haron Lagat) is doing his masters at Texas Tech uni and he ran for them before although he went through NCAA unnoticed, because he was battling a knee injury for two years. Running is not' one size fits all" some people prefer to earn a leaving through sports and may be invest in a business, the all point is just to have a good living standard.
Good job to him but of the rest 75 % kenyans athletes who end up being poor after 2-5 years of succesful running
David, looks like it will be 19:31, guntime. I think chip time was listed. I will find out, thanks, and I did know about Delilah beforehand. Mike
