3:51. Not bad.
3:51. Not bad.
what's the u.s. record on american soil? did webb run 3:50 at pre once or did i make that up?
3:51 in April?! In a lower level mile, that is fantastic...
3:50.85 in 2004.
Wow, very good time. Was Joseph the rabbit?

my thoughts exactly - especially a race in America - without the competition lift one typically gets in Europe.
3:51.71
Second place 4:03
Sub-3:50 fer sure at Pre
nice to see him running some decent times
"not bad" and "decent" to describe a 3:51 against 4:03 competition.
Tough crowd.
Looks like he's not going to let us think about Hall's performances for long.
Can't wait to see splits on that race.
Only a handful of Americans have run faster on U.S. soil--Webb (Pre mile), Ryun (2 WRs), Holman, Lagat (twice).
Fastest time ever run by an American in April (previous was Tony Waldrop's 3:53.2h in 1974!
Fastest time ever run in the world, by anyone, in April (previous was Johan Fourie of Russia in 3:52.14 in 1986).
Did Kleimenhagen get to the start line late or something?

no, he got to the finish line late
Absolutely great by Webb..
And Rod DeHaven went 4:19 in the Master's Mile to win..
DeHaven ran 24:39 to place 2nd overall in the 8K road race at 8:00 this morning and came back to win masters mile (4:19) at 11:00 a.m. Not a bad day.
A 3:51 in that race with the lack of competition equals a sub 3:50 mile in Europe with competition this time of year. Even though I think he can be inconsistant, he will break the American record for the mile within the next two years.
Come on guys, you can bash him better than this.
Where's flagpole when you want some self-righteous nonsense?
this is a pretty f***ing impressive performance. let's give webb the credit he deserves for this.
If he blogs this race, I won't read it. It won't be insightful or compelling at all. More like low-brow, tighty-whities- you know.
Splits?

Come on, enough with the equivalents. He ran 3:51 and that was his time, let's just leave it at that.
