Lead was at least a minute and although they have to drop out as one of the eurosport announcers just pointed out "these lads can run a bit". Anyone know what their actual credentials are? Ladies race has slowed ridiculously... |

thanks rojo. I put the 10k time out there 20 minutes before you, but it still beats listening to trautwig, rawson and lewis. I'd be willing to pay $10 to listen to you next year. Maybe if 1000 people pony up the $ we could do it... Oh well, a guy can dream, can't he? |

Yes, and I grant it was nice he admitted they had some credentials. If you have Kenyans breaking away early, you do NOT dismiss them off-handedly. |

Jefe the CO that message was for you, thanks. |

lol, 48 for 10k isn't that good :P (guessing 10 miles?) apparently one of them might be a bona-fide runner with a 2 minute lead on the field. Maybe not ambush marketing but definitely an ambush, I thought they looked veyr comfortable early on, think mens field has just cottoned on... |

Hey Rojo, Did you know that Craig Virgin is -or was- a spokesman and partner in Spira? Talked to him two years ago at Boston Spira booth. |

He said 48 minutes for 10K but had just made a reference to the Army 10 Miler, so his brain hadn't quite caught up with his mouth. He needs to slow the turnover on his tongue. I can't believe we've got Rawson and Carol Lewis together for the Boston Marathon. This is far more painful for viewers than the weather is for the runners. Far, far worse. |

Oh my god!!! lets go Moultons!!!!! |

I started out just joking about those guys. It's the first time that I've ever heard of the shoes or the company. Believe me, I have no interest in buying shoes with springs Richard, but if the lead pack of the Boston Marathon goes out in 16:22 then they deserve whatever fate befalls them. No go back to creating more conspiracy theories for the Bush Administration... |

How does everyone think the Moultons will do? |

Whoa! Look at the posted leaders: club runners (Moulton BAA in 5th) and masters (Sammy 2:26 to win last year) and finally maiyo. |

WBZ radio thread says Lehmkule is leading men's pack. Men at 2:14 pace, leaders at 2:08 pace. Infinitely more information than Vs - pull it up on your computer & switch off audio at commercials if you're able. |
