Anyone know how Kenya will select its Olympic team for Beijing? If Cheryiot is not on it, it's a crime...
At least there were no Kenyan women in the top three.
Gilmore top american man?
Actually slower than '85 by 8 seconds...Drayton's '77 time is slower than the '07 time.
Where are Lehm and Gilmore?

Uh, I'm thinking we will know for sure when he runs London.
Bizuneh is running London, not Boston.
Gilmore just finished 8th. Way to go former Cal.
Oh snap, hand me the tard of the hour award.
Gilmore crossed around 2:16:40.
8. Peter M. Gilmore USA 2:09:24

That must be his chip time. He's probably kicking himself now for starting so far back.
but will cheriyot want to run the olympic marathon in that heat, when he may make more to run a major city marathon chicago, berlin, ny or even dubai.
That's pretty good for Gilmore in these conditions.

That's his 40K time.
I hope your kidding.
Cheruyiot will have won $1 million for his last 3 marathons plus the marathon series (guaranteed no worse than tied for 1st right now), so why not go and run Beijing? It would only enhance his status as #1 in the world. If only the Kenyan team doesn't screw the pooch in the selection process...
