What was that quote a few weeks or months ago on the front page about us all expecting world records and personal bests and all that out of these people EVERY SINGLE TIME. If a baseball player bats .300 he's considered solid. That's only 3 hits every 10 times to the plate. Deena may do something miraculous. We'll see. But I, for one, will not be beside myself if the race doesn't go well. Everyone has an off day...even someone who NEVER has an off day like Deena. |

Ok, dumbass. If you were following the same training as someone else and they raced a week before you and flopped completely, you wouldn't doubt your training at all? Did I say anything about "clearly means Hall is behind in his training?" I asked if you think he's doubting his training. It doesn't mean he won't have a good debut, but my guess is he has a little less confidence than if Deena had gone out and won easily today. |
