Wow, has the BAA ever mentioned weather before a race?

awwww. poor baby. had to kwick the linky winky.
next time, go f*** yourself.
nothing personal but the BAA marathon has been run in the rain and flurries in the past, it has also been run in 90-degree heat
part of the risk you run
maybe it will keep the PENGUINS away?
If you are so fast, what the hell do you care what's going on behind you?
Do you also worry about the guys cleaning the porta potties?

Yes, in 2004 they posted warnings about the heat. They got it right that time...
The weather the past few years has been crazy. One day you are wearing gloves, the next its hot. The day after the 2002 race it was 92 degrees. When was the last time it rained during the marathon?
Two words of advice for Monday....RUN EASY!!!
Well...it is April...Spring time is here. Just here in Louisville I've seen 80s, 20s, hail, lightning, near record lows, and near record highs all in a two week time span.

Won't the snow encourage the penguins to come?
In 1970 it rained all day, temps in the low 40's and Ron Hill ran 2:10:30. About 5 minutes faster than the race record 2 years prior...(by the way he wore his now famous fishnet singlet...brrr!)
Was the wind with him or against him? Big difference. With a time like that I assume it was with him, and he never felt 'cold'.
Latest Thursday night forcast from Weather.com...
High Monday - 43 degrees
Winds - 23 MPH from the East HEADWIND!
Rain - 70% and yea, it may be heavy.
Nice day for an enjoyable long run.
Huggs Becky
Wind direction is projected to be E/SE and shifting to NE over the day.
NE is in your face most of the race.
Marathon Mind ... I think it's time to buck up and deal with the fact that it will likely be a stormy day. Let's quit analyzing and get ready to run.
