I'm not trying to start a letsbashcycling thread. I'm being serious. I do some cycling 2 or 3 times a week. I was looking to get a new cycling jersey (since I didn't get one for Christmas... not that I was really expecting one). I was looking at some jerseys in a cycling shop today and they were $90 a piece! What makes a cycling jersey so much more expensive than a synthetic running shirt? Big deal if it has a small zipper in the front and 3 pockets in the back... that just doesn't seem to make the price any more explicable. Or should I just realize that cycling is a rich-boy elitist sport?
