What are you talking about? The official announcement is still a few hours away, and the BCS rankings for this week are not out.
Florida moved ahead of Michigan in the polls, thus probably pushing them ahead in the BCS. We shall see.
A BCS insider reported to the LA Times that Florida had in fact jumped Michigan.

It's very likely, since Florida is ahead of Michigan in two of the other three polls out (not counting BCS).
Supposedly many of the computer polls have them "tied," so the human polls will decide, and we already know Florida is ahead there.
Michigan's coach has taken the high road, not campaigning to the media & public for his team to be in the title game.
Florida, on the other hand, has been doing as much politicing as they can in the past week.
If Florida plays Ohio State in the championship game and Florida loses by more than a field goal (what Michigan lost to them by), then we'll know who REALLY deserved to be in that game.
That assumes that Michigan wins its bowl game.

The BCS is a joke. Ohio State had an easy schedule this year in an off year for the Big 10. Florida is in the weak SEC. The quality of the college football teams has become diluted with so many teams playing now, and the players are all doped from the time they were in middle school. College football is not a sport, it\'s a Hollywood freak show.

Smart and classy move by Carr by not trying to get his team into the BCS title game. Real smart.
If Florida loses by 7 that doesn't prove anything. Michigan played OSU and lost. You can't actually believe you can take the results from one game and then the results from another and compare the two point by point. If OSU replayed their entire schedule I'd wager that not a single one of those games would result in the same point spread. If OSU beats up on Florida all we'll know is that OSU is the best team in the nation. Michigan can't complain, they played OSU and lost. It wasn't even as close as the score indicated.
"Michigan can't complain, they played OSU and lost."
Not on a neutral field.
How about we have UF play OSU in Columbus in Jan? Do you think UF would think that is "fair".

Thank you. At least someone remembers it wasn't really a 3 point game. The game was 10-14 all game and was never in doubt the entire second half. The last TD was a garbage touchdown. Anyone who claims it was as close as the scoreboard made it seem is delusional.

You guys were manhandled by OSU. It was really a 10 point win. The last TD was in garbage time and the game was never in doubt. Have fun losing to USC in the Rose Bowl. It will be the most apt honor for Bo.

Uh, while I agree that the game wasn't as close as the score, this is definitely not true. Michigan was down by only 4 with a very real chance not even halfway through the 3rd quarter and again early in the 4th quarter. See for yourself:
well i guess when florida wins then we'll know that they really were the team that deserved to play for the title.
this is all assuming they go to the game. as we all know, an undefeated auburn team didn't get to go a few years ago, what a crock that was.

Let's have UF play AU on a neutral field too.
Michigan lost. You don't get redos on neutral fields in somewhat close games. If that were the case then USC should replay UCLA and Oregon State somewhere in Washington state.
Michigan played OSU and lost. They LOST. They got their shot and they lost. It wasn't even some BS call that lead to the loss. From what I saw if OSU played Michigan again it would be a double digit win for OSU.
Although I much prefer Michigan, I'm thrilled that it looks like Florida will play the Buckeyes. That way, when OSU stomps the Gators and Wisconsin spanks Arkansas maybe the SEC fans will finally shut up!
The other matchups are a shame though - I'd love to see LSU against USC and Michigan vs Louisville.

Does anybody else smell a buckeye in here? Only an OSU fan would talk smack about somebody barely in the grave.
If Florida does not like rematches, then lets take away their last NC since it was a rematch against Florida State.
the bcs is a joke. it has allways been and will allways be a joke. too bad we have to wait till the contract to even come close to sniffing a playoff system.
