http://www4.esu.edu/athletics/m_sports/trackandfield/07-08/media/psac-day1.htm results, they had more finishers in the 5k for both men and women, im not sure why they only have 6 maybe Rohl is still fired up over his three miler's place! |

What happend to get rohl fired up? he only had one runner in the field Joe Staneck. Rohl always seems to be making an ass of himself when it comes to Championship races. |

I think its more along the lines of that Rohl is savin his his hits for nationals. Mansfield is a decent team headin in the right direction but we know that they aren't in contention to win the championship. The good guys on that team are all runnin at nationals in two weeks. Why waste energy at a seemingly pointless meet? |

strange but also good to see mansfield and cal go 1-2 in a good dmr race. the depth of talent in the psac continues to improve every year. ship looks to be in good position to win the team title. as for the ship alumni posters, if in fact they are from ship, i apologize for them. every school has a few idiots. |

I was standing by the finish line when it occured. The kid got f***ed up when the ship fellow kicked early having miscounted his laps too. I think his name is Stitler? but he ended up hopping back in and finishing the race while the mansfield kid did not. On numerous occasions people told him he still had a lap to go but evidently he had decided 24 laps was enough. Anyway long story short the mansfield kid is a douche for not managing to finish and bloomsburg managed to nab the only points it will score this weekend. In hind sight maybe it wasn't the best idea for the bloom coaches to chalk the sprinting program. side note: i wonder whether or not the bloom coach keeps her husband's nuts in a jar on their dresser? |

I would have to disagree about him bein a douche. I was at the finish line as well and it was the lap counter that made the mistake. Stanek was disqualified due to brandts rade of him leavin the track. He was also never notified that he had another lap until the others were finished. Looks like the jokes on you guys because the counter admited his mistake. My guess is that Stanek will be back in the fall with more ambition to do well. |

This is the real type of Ship athlete that I knew. Totally agree with ya: always gonna be one idiot. It's cool. I don't hold it against the school at all. Never had a bad run in ever with any PSAC school to be honest. It's really cool to see someone say something positive about two lesser known track schools. I appreciate it. Yeah, team title is far from our reach. I don't think anyone from Mansfield ever expected to be in contension. They just try to do the best they can. What else could ya ask for? Hopefully someone can post some video from PSACs. I'd love to see that 5k funk. Man that's odd. Good luck in day 2. |

Mansfield is a joke. I mean come on, you know the race is 25 laps so way try and make it 24? you know your going to get caught! So to Stanek nice try you loser for trying to place further up in the race then you would of if you ran the full 25 lap 5k race. This goes to show you Rohl must is an idiot for not telling his kid how many laps his runner had to go! |
