I think Rock will be top 10. Their front three are VERY good. Weiss, Reagan, and Bluman could all be top 25. If their fifth man can just have a good race (not a great one), they could finish as high as 7th or 8th. It's been a long time that a PSAC team had three that were that good.

Definitely looking forward to watching Weiss and Clark do battle.

I just wanted to wish all the boro guys good luck at nats, the definetly deserve the respect... even though there pants may be well... flaming for the lack of a better word.

They definetly have the potentiental to be a top 10 team .

As long as they get their shit together and do their tradtional cirlce jerk onto a cookie before the meet they should be golden. I hear the creamed cookie gives them all power and strength to do their best.

My only question is if their coach is in on the circle?

20x400 is weak...very weak. As I told Jorge, the IUP tradition was a mile for each year you've been alive. My 21st was 11 mile loop + 9 mile loop + 1 mile on the IUP track followed by 23 shots...

Good luck Boro.

It's good to hear you are keeping the tradition alive. As an alum from the days of national championships, outrageousness and an "I dont give a crap what others think" mentality was the norm with the guys (because they could. they were that good).

Run hard. Go Boro!

Actually, I remember a couple of women's teams along the way where that was also the case...

TeePee --

The bars at IUP are pretty much the same. What is now Boomerang's used to be a place called Kangaroo's (go figure)...different name and different owners, but same cheesy Australian flavor.

Also, Coney used to just be the back half of what it is today. You used to have to go down into the Alley to get in there and it was this little tiny place always full of people.

I spent most of my college years hanging out at Al Patti's -- which was the rugby bar. But, my roommate and an IUP Cross Alum worked there, so the drinking was free...in fact, I used to be able to get up from my barstool and walk behind the bar and help myself to a beer...not a bad setup for a college kid.

BTW, if you are ever back up at IUP, go to Coney and ask for a bartender named Moser. That's my former roommate that used to work at Al Patti's (works at Coney now). Tell him Fleck said to give you a beer on the house...and, you'll likely find yourself drinking for free as well.

I remember when Regionals was at IUP a few years ago. Went to some house party drinking King Cobra 40s(can't believe I used to be into that crap) with Gerry Liebsch and Jo Jo Evanick. Then we went to some bar downtown, it was pretty nice with a dance floor, maybe Hoovis, TP or Jorge know what place I'm talking about. I had a lot in the tank and I was hitting on every girl in the place. Jo Jo told me he'd buy me a shot if I danced with this really large chick, so of course I went ahead and did it. Probably was the most fun I had that night. Felt like crap the next morning at the race, but that's what I learned a typical IUP night is like.

Oh yeah, I was up there another time, let's just say it was probably the greatest F'n party ever! Just tend bar for an hour and there's a girl ready to fall for ya! hahaha

But when I left the Haven, who was the last person I saw as I was walking out of Sheetz with my MTO burger??
