Beegle got a victory in the DMR last year and Runner up in the 5k at nationals. Gillette went AA in the 1500 outdoors as well as winning the indoor and outdoor PSAC championships. Stephen was 2nd in the 1500 and 3rd in the 5k at PSAC's last year. Don't be jealous of a team that wins when it counts and runs fast every year. Between those three guys are a ton of team points at conferences which shows that they rise to the occasion. Splits were 2:59, 48.4, 1:53, 4:05. By far the best group of middle distance runners ever put together at one time in the PSAC. By the way Tom Troxell ships 1:51 guy last year didn't make the team and either did Gillette. So they could have two guys get hurt and still break 9:50. It's just great talent, great coaching, and the drive to do big things on the national level.

I love it. A team runs 9:47 and people find some reason to put the accomplishment down. Remember jealousy is just love and hate at the same time. These guys work hard as hell. And they'll be ready now and whenever they need to be. No lucky races, no flukes, just greatness.

loch Haven is no where near the top of the distance standings this season. From my understanding, they may bag the indoor season and just try to get healthy for outdoors.

Slippery Rock is looking decent as well as kutztown.

in the end though, whats it even matter if times at the conference meet dont count due to the mismeasured track.

From what I heard from Watts himself, the track has been remeasured this year. It was about 6 inches off per lap prior to this year.

The Deadman returned tonight. The Undertaker is back after a ten month hiatus. Pretty excited.

Ballsy prediction! With that said, I'd be really interested to hear your predictions for individual champions. I could understand the 800 - that race is stacked with people from other schools.. but a mile with Gillette/Beegle? 3k/5k with Schelander/Beegle? They're bound to win at least 2, if not all of those races.

Where has Alex Smith from Cal been? He is not entered at the D2 challenge.

Historically what would you say is the toughest event to place (top 6) at outdoor PSAC?

I say the 800 meters because you have speed guys moving up and talented distance runners moving down and this is the longest track event with qualifying heats....

thoughts?

Last year by far the deepest event was the 800. Almost every athlete in the final was on the national list and sub 1:53. None of the other events had anything similar in far as depth.

Only people that suck at everything else run the steeple.

Hi, I am doing an internship in my final semester with an up-and-coming running website called Huxley Running Company. Our main goal is to provide a place where runners and members of the running community who are under the radar have a place to shine.

There are so many amazing people in our sport who deserve more attention. I am looking for some support and to increase viewership, so I thought I would post something here to get the word out. I will be updating the website weekly with interviews from athletes and coaches in a section called Huxley Heroes. I am keeping a blog to update fans of the sport on my journey in the beginning stages of my Professional career called Neely's Notes. I encourage you to read my blog, and then if you have any questions, comment beneath it, and each week I will pick one to answer. There is a section called Huxley Helps which is a place where I will write articles about running topics such as gear, cross training, injury prevention, and running related issues. I also post an article of the week in Huxley Hits.

Check it out www.huxleyrunningco.org and give me some feedback. I want to get you involved, so if you have anyone who you know has a great story to share, or anyone in particular you would like to learn more about, let me know and I will see if we can get an interview.

My email is accessible though this thread, so please contact me with suggestions!

Thanks
Shizzy

Bryan Beegle 406.7. All-Time Conference Record.

But Ship probably won't win any individual events at PSACs.
