I'll tell you right now who the number one on my list is, hands down: Tina Yi. I like me a nice old asian. She is culturally diverse and has years of experience, not to mention she runs a nice 10k. I would tear that shit up. |

And maybe not McCollum either. But who knows? |

|
Agreed. With this. I feel like Christy Reimer ran the race of her life to qualify for Nats. This season is probably the start of her always being the mix and the conversation of things, from here on out for her college career. It's going to be tough if she's also running a leg on the DMR the night before. |

How about those performances from NCAAs? Ship win's both DMRs with amazing anchors from both Spence and Beegle! Nafee Harris pulls off the back to back national championships and other notable performances by the KU DMR and the long jumpers of Ship. |
| Well..... |
| ||
|
Reimer is a senior so she's only going to "always be in the mix and conversation of things" until mid-May. Great job by the PSAC last night though. Ship DMRs, KU DMR, Ship Long jumpers and Nafee Harris all brought back All-American awards. Cool deal. |

So there has still never been an answer to the age old question: who is Justin Amy?? |

Congrats to the PSAC on their nice haul at Indoor NCAAs. Here's a recap to all the action: http://psacsports.org/news/2011/3/10/MTRACK_0310112246.aspx Some performances of note: 3 National Champions: Ship Men's and Women's DMRs Nafee Harris coming back to form to defend and take his 4th long jump title of his career. 4 Runners-up: Neely Spence and Bryan Beegle of Ship in the Women's and Men's 5000m Leander Toney of IUP in the Men's High Jump Lynn Mayer of ESU in the Women's High Jump and many more AAs. Thanks for elevating the PSAC to the national stage, guys and gals. |

The PSAC definitely stepped up at indoor nats this year, with Ship leading the charge. On another note, Adams State didn't show up. Birdsong made a move in the 5k to go for the win but ended up blowing up. Their stud miler, Huffer (sp?), didn't even make the final. What is going on out there? This is good news for all the distance teams in the conference. It's time to start training your as*es off and run some fast times this spring. With Ship's men winning the DMR, it shows that if we can get people to the meet, the talent in our conference can run with anyone, and win. I look forward to seeing the PSAC get some distance runners to nationals and to continue to make an impact on the national scene. |

I agree 100% that psac athletes should be competing for all American honors and even podium finishes. However we shouldn't let that detract from what the ship team did. Especially the mens DMR. Converted for altitude, their time is 9:45 - 9:46. Especially with Beegle's 4:08 anchor which must convert to like 4:02 - 4:03. the psac is strong but don't forget to give credit where credit is due. |

Let's get the outdoor talk going! There's already been some times laid down, and more meets are this weekend. |

can anyone confirm or deny jamieson from sru's arrest for cocaine possession over spring break? |
| Sounds about right |

Really? You want more recognition? Good lord. It's not enough to get there and do it and just be proud of yourselves. No, you really need to hear all kinds of praise from everyone weeks after the fact, after we all acknowledged you right when it happened. You won the Division II 2011 Indoor T&F Champs DMR. Congratulations. I'll PERSONALLY make sure to periodically give you guys credit for that, just so everyone knows how great you all are. Protip: Being good has absolutely nothing to do with why this conference can't stand you guys. |

When were down in SC at Coastal I noticed Jamieson was in street clothes and looked rather dejected. I asked one of the Rock guys why he wasn't competing and they mentioned an arrest. Apparently he's had problems with this stuff in the past. Hope it all gets cleared up and he's racing again soon. |

Yes, he was in SC and dejected. Last I spoke to him he was "battling dragons" and had just "acquired the 'Staff of Parthenon'". I'm not sure what that means, but it's what he told me. Hope things clear up for him. |
