performance of the night had to be Weiss's 14:04! Pinto, improved his range from 352 1500 -30:36 for 10k! that's some impressive range! Erin Richard Clarion ran 16:41 that's also a good run! lost of sub-15 5k's by the conference last night. Probably wasn't great weather, but I wasn't there. Who is running at Paul Kaiser this weekend? I head Virginia Tech will bring a small group. |

Agree with Shizzy. I would actually give the nod in terms of performance to the girl from Clarion...but it was fun as hell to watch Weiss (and Clark for that matter) just hang around and knock heads in the 5k. Couldn't make it back to east coast this year (first Penn I've missed in a decade+), but watched it on flocast: http://www.flocasts.com/flotrack/coverage.php?c=32&id=2134 Reagan also had a very solid run. In fact, I think that his performance this track season is actually key to the Rock's season next year. Because of it, I think Rock will win PSAC's next year in cross. I'll explain rationale later in a future post... Anyway, great run by Weiss and Clark and lots of PSACer's last night. Won't miss next year -- already scheduled time off to return. of course stat was there, but he did miss saturday's events for the first time since 1995 or so. i ran against carney several times in college back when he was running in the 15 minute 5k and 31 minute 10k range. he's one of those amazing stories about a guy that's worked for a long period of time to develop his talent. his patience and dedication is obviously paying off. i was skeptical of him not going to world's for xc, but it seems to be the right decision now. |

"what happen to hanz?." As another poster already referred to 14:46 ain't too shabby. Yeah you got weiss and clark running 14:04/14:12 and this mkaes hanz run seem subpar, but this performance is right in line with everything he's done for the past 7 months (cross/indoor and so far outdoors). This is about what i'd expect of him at this point in time. You want to see him suddenly run off the charts at Penn b/c he had a nice run there wo years ago when the fact of the matter is he's just not strong enough to do that (or atleast that is the impression that i get). |

Today coach told me that Weiss, Clark, Shepherd and Regan are running the 10k. Pinto is not. I am also running the 10k, and the 5k. I bet everyone that qualified for the 5k will run it. I cant help you with the entries. I dont know either. -Jorge Good luck. |
