Maybe you don't understand these things called "facts." Has Lance ever been registered with a positive test? No. I don't follow cycling, but I have not heard of Lance's coach having 10+ athletes test positive, nor have I heard of Lance leaving his coach for another that is banned by his/her respective federation for doping offenses, as was/is the case with Marion Jones.
I make no claims with regaurds to Lance actually taking drugs -- I don't follow cycling and I don't know. But I do know that he has never had a positive test, and that he is immensely popular. How many people wore those bracelets, and how many other organizations used the same idea?
And you expect the NYRRC to reject him simply because you think he's guilty, or some of your cyclist buddies, or some of his former teammates/rivals? Ridiculous. It's not as if he is an unpopular figure. As someone earlier pointed out, the public perception is that this is a good looking guy who beat cancer and became the dominant force in his sport -- it's the American Dream!
Sure, he could have cheated. But the point is that LEGALLY there is nothing to support such a basis. You question Mary's character for what? For not adhering to hearsay and rumours?
