What about the Craig Mottram theory about "satisfying" one's self to elevate your testosterone levels and increase performance? I'm going with this.

Apprarently some people need to become a little smarter. Lemond praised Landis for being clean and he is dirty, yet he dissed Armstrong for being dirty and so far there is no evidence to prove that, so in other words he is clean.

Basically lemond has been wrong about, well everything

So he has the choice of being known as a "chronic masturbater" or a drug user?

Lets not jump to conclusions yet. Lets wait for the "B" sample.

As you may remember Bernard Lagat also tested positive on an "A" sample but was cleared on the "B" sample.

Lets just wait!!!

Have they tested his B sample yet?

Cycling should just go ahead and legalize everything - the sport is just too dirty to clean up even though currently they're more agressive than any other sport with drug raids and kicking leaders out of the race.

Have they had a clean winner in the past 15 years? I doubt it.

Personally, I'd rather be the former than the latter. Wait, maybe I already am...

He should go with the beer and sex defense.

"The night after I cracked, I figured my tour was pretty much over, so I had a few beers and me and Amber went back to the hotel room and got crazy. I felt great the next day and went for it. etc."

So a US cyclist loses the 2006 TOUR DE DRUGS. Who freaking cares? They're all on drugs, it's all about who can hide it the best.

Lance was dirty, just like the top 5 dirty birds that got held out of this years race. I can't believe that anyone still defends the sport.

Well, sadly all those posts saying "how can you bonk like that one day and crush the world elite the next?" turned out to be based on healthy skepticism, not cynicism or anti-Americanism.

Who still thinks Lance was clean, and that his positive test was merely fabricated by l'Equipe?

"Buster then made a startling admission to letsrun.com and the other journalists. In a day and age when so many athletes refuse to tell the truth, Buster came clean. He was talking about training or something about how having a race is good and he said "I stimulate myself" and then he paused and said "not in the way you all are thinking - everyone does that." So there you have it, an elite level 5k guy admits to stimulating himself. Not sure if he has heard the rumor about a former Olympic champion who supposedly would stimulate himself in the port-o-let just prior to the start of his races in order to raise his testosterone."

Could it be that Landis was stimulated on his saddle all day...that his levels were abnormal? It is possible?

Hold on kids! Let's wait for the "B" sample.

I hope this isn't true because Landis' performance was inpiring and epic. Plus, if true, I am a bit perplexed by it. It would be the dumbest way to cheat and any serious doper / dope doctor / team manager would know that. We've been able to detect steroids (and masking agents) for over twenty years.

Perhaps he and Dennis Mitchell had some beers and hooked up with some hotties after stage 16?

Mottram has it backwards. Sex lowers testosterone in males. NOT satisfying yourself is the way to go, if you think it'll make a difference. It does elevate levels in females, however.
