Plantars wart pain

plantars warts are so painful...i had 2 frozen off by docs and with another one, i just cut away at it with a blade and at night i would put compound W on it.

i have 6 plantars warts on the bottom of my foot. i just had them injected with something (this chemical is supposed to kill the warts and make them fall off) at the dermatologist yesterday and i haven't hardly been able to walk, let alone run. take care of it now before it spreads or get's bigger because this will get worse before it gets better. it will hurt for a few days, but i ran all through college with these warts and they were a pain in the ass.

ps the duct tape theory doesnt work for warts on the bottom of feet because it never sticks for more than 5 minutes. go to the doc. have him do what he can. after he injects you, you'll want to punch him in the face, but at least it will be done with

Occlusal and duct tape. Put the stuff on and cover it with a large piece of duct tape and don't remove it for several days (the longer the better). Then remove it and repeat until it's all gone. It has to be good duct tape to stay on through running and showers. Has gotten rid of all of my plantar warts (on the bottom of my feet) and gotten rid of my brother's too. If the duct tape is falling off you need to apply it to dry feet and get better duct tape.

Call me King Arthur!, how long did it take to work for you?...I had 3 on the bottom of my feet that had been there for years (though no pain as they weren't in sensitive areas) and it took about 10 monthes but they went away.....all it took was a $4 roll of duct tape and some patience...beats the 6 years or so that they had been there....

I had one for 3 years, I cut it down regularly and used EVERY OTC product there was. Nothing helped.

Finally, last year I saw a doc and got a prescription for salinocaine. I applied 3 treatments (would have been 2, but it had spread a bit, gross) and covered it with a bandaid and tape, but got rid of the tape after a day.

Then, about a week later, it was gone. It was slightly painful for a day or two, then it was fine. Hasn't come back. Cost me $30 out of pocket, it's great finally being free of it.

if you can get them of with duct tape, do that instead. maybe it just didn't work for me because i didn't stick with it long enough. good luck.

It took a few weeks and that was after years of trying to get rid of them with other medicine and frequently doing, as my wife called it, "at-home foot surgery." The Occlusal with duct tape was magic and I had a few other battles in different spots and had the same results. The duct tape may be the biggest factor, but the Occlusal accelerated the "loosening" of the skin in the area.

Here is the cure!!! I had a plantar wart on the bottom of my right heel...then it started spreading the a quarter size and to my other foot. Finally I got fed up after trying everything and anything, so I decided to go all natural and try garlic.

Here's what you do...chop up a clove of garlic and place it over the wart..then use waterproof tape first aid tape to completely seal up the garlic over the wart..be generous with the tape. The key to killing that sucker is by suffocating it with the garlic. Leave it on for three days straight and then replace it with a new chopped up garlic. The wart will eventually turn black and then fall out. For me, it only took one week. My suggestion is to pick at it first with something abrasive so the garlic gets in there. If you draw attention to your immune system by agrivating it, the wart will die.
