late 1930's, some japanese kid cut in with less than one stride on an american kid for the world junior mile championship. grandpappy harry ran for president in a grand scheme for revenge. ended up dropping a couple nukes. granted, it wasn't at the actual meet, but "little boy" did scorch a track or two... but the real irony was that the offending kid was out for a run in the cool mountains instead of doing his normal intervals, and escaped all injury. |

whipped them nips. too bad it's the last war the u.s. half-won. the generation of the 50's didn't have the guts of the 40's. china, korea, vietnam, cambodia, iraq, afghanistan, marked the beginning of the end of the U.S. Empire, the pussy u.s. was defeated in disgrace with their backs turned towards the enemy. every read the greatest generation by tom brokaw. not too many of those guys are still alive. |
